This time, we're introducing a new spot in Miyaki Town, Saga Prefecture, where you can enjoy a luxurious strawberry picking experience. It's the perfect facility for a family outing or for anyone looking for a special experience.

I actually went strawberry picking with my child.

Opening in December 2025! Strawberry picking is now available at "Uluu Gardens SAGA" (Miyaki Town, Saga Prefecture).

Located about an hour's drive from central Fukuoka City, and about 25 minutes by car from the Kurume Interchange, is "Uluu Gardens SAGA".

This strawberry farm, produced by Uruu Farm in Kurume, famous for cultivating Amaou strawberries, opened in December 2025. It is one of the largest in Saga Prefecture.

At Uluu Gardens SAGA, strawberry picking is being held until Sunday, May 31st, 2026. The appeal lies in the luxurious experience of picking large, freshly ripened strawberries in an open and spacious location.

Prices vary depending on the season, but generally range from 1,900 to 3,400 yen for adults, 1,500 to 3,000 yen for elementary school students, 1,100 to 2,600 yen for toddlers (3-5 years old), and free for children under 2 years old. It's an all-you-can-eat experience for 60 minutes. It's especially popular on weekends, so advance reservations are recommended.

By the way, from March 1st (Sun) to April 5th (Sun), 2026, the prices are 2,500 yen for adults, 2,100 yen for elementary school students, and 1,700 yen for toddlers. From April 6th (Mon) to May 31st (Sun), the prices are 1,900 yen for adults, 1,500 yen for elementary school students, and 1,100 yen for toddlers.

With over 18 houses in total, the resort is spacious and features barrier-free design, making it easily accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.

The park is divided into Building A and Building B, and you can freely move between the two buildings.

Since the strawberry varieties and conditions differ from area to area, one of the attractions is being able to enjoy comparing them as you move around.

After checking in, you'll be given a paper cup, scissors, and a stopwatch, and then it's time to start strawberry picking!

You can enjoy five distinct varieties of strawberries.

You can enjoy a wide variety of strawberries, including 'Benihoppe', 'Uruberry', 'Yotsuboshi', 'Koiminori', and the white strawberry 'Candyberry'.

Since each one has a different flavor, one of the joys is trying them all and finding your favorite.

'Benihoppe' strawberries are rich in flavor, fragrant, and intense.

'Uruberry' has a good balance of sweetness and acidity, and a refreshing taste.

'Yotsuboshi' has a good balance of sweetness, acidity, and flavor, and is characterized by its rich sweet and sour taste, while 'Koiminori' has less acidity and is appealing for its firm flesh and elegant aroma.

'Candyberry' is a rare white strawberry, and I was impressed by its gentle sweetness and clean aftertaste.

The children were also engrossed in comparing the flavors, asking each other, "Which one do you like best?"

In particular, she was very interested in the white strawberry 'Candyberry,' exclaiming, "This is the first time I've seen a white one!" Her reaction of being surprised by the difference in appearance and then tasting it was very memorable.

We had a wonderful time as a family, and our strawberry picking trip became a truly memorable experience.

We also have luxurious crepes overflowing with strawberries!

At Cafe Fleur, located within the facility, you can enjoy crepes made with strawberries. Even if you don't participate in strawberry picking, you're welcome to just use the cafe.

We will be open every day throughout March 2026, but please note that in April we will only be open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Chairs and tables are provided within the park, allowing you to leisurely enjoy strawberries and crepes right there.

This is the luxurious "Strawberry Mountain" (1,650 yen), made with plenty of strawberries.

The balance of sweetness and tartness in the strawberries was exquisite, making it irresistibly delicious for strawberry lovers.

The "Amaou Strawberry Mille-feuille Crème Brûlée Crepe" (850 yen) features a rich, creamy filling and a fragrant, slightly bitter caramelized surface as an accent.

The balance of sweetness was just right, and I enjoyed it to the very last bite.

The crepe batter is slightly thick and has a chewy texture.

The portion size was quite generous, making it feel like a great deal.

Finally, I also received one of the shop's can badges, which are distributed irregularly. It's so cute! ♡
