First time opening at Hakata Station! Cookie specialty store "PUG" opens for a limited time on Ippin Nishidori Street (Hakataeki Chuo-gai, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

For a limited time from Friday, February 20th to Sunday, May 10th, 2026, the popular cookie specialty store "PUG" will be opening on Ippin Nishidori Street inside JR Hakata Station.

Their signature "Boston Cookie" is filled with rich, thick chocolate and fragrant roasted nuts. Originating in Massachusetts, this traditional American cookie has been evolved with the addition of secret ingredients to suit Japanese tastes. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, it's a flavor that will have you hooked after just one bite. Another appealing feature is the volume, as even a single cookie is very satisfying.

They have stores in the Kanto region and elsewhere, and this is their second store in Kyushu after the LaLaport Fukuoka store. This store is take-out only. You can buy it at Hakata Station, so it's great that you can easily stop by on your way to work or school or before going out.

All cookies sold at this limited-time shop are individually wrapped, making them hygienic and perfect for a quick snack at your desk.

One thing you definitely can't miss at this event is the nine new types of cookies that will be sold before they are available in stores nationwide.

The new product is said to have a moist and light texture.

On the day I visited, some items were out of stock, but I'll introduce you to the items that were on sale.

One series that is particularly noteworthy is the one with a creamy filling in the center of the cookie.

This is the rich-tasting "Salted Caramel Flavor Cookie" (410 yen).

It's crispy on the outside, moist and sweet on the inside, and has an amazingly creamy salted caramel centre.

The saltiness is well-balanced with the sweetness! When you rebake it, the chocolate kneaded into the dough melts and becomes a blissful taste.

If you want to enjoy a more sophisticated taste, we recommend the "Matcha Camembert Cheese" (470 yen).

The moment you take a bite, the aroma of authentic matcha fills your nose. The rich flavor of the cheese inside, combined with the bitterness of the matcha, makes for a very satisfying bite.

Other items available include the "Flavor Cookie Strawberry" (410 yen), which has a cute color combination, the "Flavor Cookie Lemon Chocolate" (410 yen), which has a refreshingly sour accent, and the rich "Flavor Cookie Double Chocolate" (410 yen), which is irresistible for chocolate lovers.

The lineup also includes "Flavor Cookie Plain" (280 yen), "Flavor Cookie Matcha" (320 yen), and "Flavor Cookie Chocolate" (320 yen), which have no filling and allow you to simply enjoy the deliciousness of the dough.

Enjoy various mini sizes! Limited edition box available

They also sell the "Little Boston Cookie Box Assortment" (1,800 yen), which contains 12 mini-sized "Boston Cookies" and can only be purchased here.

It contains four each of plain, chocolate, and matcha flavors, so it's great to be able to enjoy a variety of flavors.
