This time, we will introduce sweets that can only be enjoyed now at a very popular cafe.

APOC COFFEE, a popular cheesecake cafe just a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station (Hakata Station, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

This time we visited APOC COFFEE, a cafe popular for its cheesecake, located just a five-minute walk from the Hakata exit of JR Hakata Station.

The store name "APOC" apparently has two meanings.

The first is "a place of connection," which is our hope that the store will become a place where connections can be made between customers, as well as between those who give and receive APOC COFFEE cheesecake and coffee.

The second is "a piece of cheesecake." The literal translation is "a slice of cheesecake," but it also conveys the desire for people to enjoy cheesecake in a familiar way.

They don't take reservations for seats, so customers are seated in the order they arrive. On weekends, there are many customers, so there is often a line! Opening hours are from 11:30 to 24:00, so it can be used for a variety of occasions.

The showcase located just inside the store displays eight regular menu items and several seasonal menu items.

They also have a meal menu with fresh pasta and other dishes, so many people visit for lunch or dinner. You can also add salad and cheesecake to your meal set for an additional fee, which is great.

The restaurant has both counter and table seating, making it a comfortable place for friends, couples, and even solo diners.

This time, we tried three winter-only cheesecakes that will be available until the end of January 2026.

Amaou strawberry and white chocolate Earl Grey cheesecake (880 yen)

This popular dish from last year is back again this year. It has been improved by using plenty of Hakata Amaou strawberries!

The soft flavors of white chocolate and Earl Grey are complemented by the tartness of homemade strawberry jam, creating a luxurious cheesecake with a lingering Earl Grey aroma.

Apple and caramel rare cheesecake (620 yen)

This cute caramel cheesecake with crunchy almond tuile goes perfectly with the cinnamon-scented apples.

The rare cheesecake is chewy and the cookie dough is crispy, so you can enjoy the texture.

Italian pistachio cheesecake (700 yen)

This cute pistachio cheesecake is a lovely Christmas green and is smooth and rich!

At APOC COFFEE, you can enjoy over 20 types of drinks, including alcoholic beverages.

Drip coffee (R420 yen / L470 yen)

Coffee is a must-have pairing for cheesecake, and we especially recommend the carefully brewed drip coffee.

It has a rich flavor and little acidity, making it a perfect match for cheesecake.

Matcha milk (R550 yen / L600 yen)

The "Matcha Milk" is popular among women and is recommended as it is not too sweet and heavy. This also goes well with the cheesecake.

There are also winter-only drinks on the menu, including "Brown Sugar Hoji Milk" (R580 yen / L630 yen), "Purple Sweet Potato Milk" (R550 yen / L600 yen), and "Maple Cinnamon Milk" (R580 yen / L630 yen), all of which are sure to warm you up.
