This time, we will introduce a sweets brand that is making its first appearance in Kyushu.

[November 19th-25th, 2025] The popular sweets brand Yokohama Vanilla will be appearing at Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin store!

Yokohama Vanilla, a sweets brand from Yokohama, will be opening a store in the event space on B2 of the main building of Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin store from Wednesday, November 19th to Tuesday, November 25th, 2025. This will be their first time in Kyushu.

Whenever they open a pop-up store in various locations, there are long lines​, and they have attracted a lot of attention, including being certified as a Guinness World Record(TM) for the most financiers sold in 12 hours.

The CEO of Yokohama Vanilla Co., Ltd. is Yuto Takahashi, who was born and raised in Yokohama. The sweets on display were planned and developed based on his own image of Yokohama.

In pursuit of their ideal, they have gathered professionals from partner companies with a track record of producing famous gift sweets, and they are extremely particular about everything from the ingredients to the manufacturing process.

Regarding the opening of the pop-up store, Takahashi commented, "Yokohama Vanilla will next be opening a pop-up store in Fukuoka! It's our first time in Kyushu. I'm so happy! I've been to Fukuoka for work before and was impressed by how delicious the food was. I'm a little nervous about having such high-quality meals served to discerning palate-seekers, but I'm confident that they'll say it's delicious! First of all, I'll be aggressively promoting the taste and the name so that people in Fukuoka will think, 'When I go to Yokohama, I want to try Yokohama Vanilla!' Yokohama Vanilla in Fukuoka too!!!"

Our signature product, "Salted Vanilla Financier," is on sale!

The pop-up store will be selling the flagship product, "Salted Vanilla Financier" (3 pieces for 1,100 yen, 6 pieces for 2,160 yen).

Baked at high temperatures and in a short time in a state-of-the-art tunnel oven, the moisture, vanilla aroma, and flavor are locked in. This is a carefully crafted masterpiece that is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Finally, the rock salt carefully sprinkled on each piece is the key to the flavor!

Its main features include the use of 100% domestically produced wheat flour, as well as natural Bourbon vanilla extract, pink rock salt from the Andes, and burnt butter.

"Natural Bourbon Vanilla Extract" is made from Bourbon vanilla beans, which are produced under strict quality control, with each bean stamped with the producer's code, and is carefully concentrated and extracted using traditional Cognac distillation techniques. You can enjoy the rich and powerful aroma of genuine Bourbon vanilla, a product that has been passed down since the French dynasty.

Pink salt from the Andes Mountains is made by slowly crystallizing deep seawater over a long period of time, and is characterized by its gentle and delicate saltiness. The sweet and mellow vanilla and crisp saltiness create a harmonious blend.

The rich, full-bodied flavor is created by Takanashi Direct-Flame Seared Butter, a product of Takanashi Dairy, headquartered in Yokohama. It is used in large quantities, enhancing the aroma and saltiness.
