An event will be held where you can fully enjoy the charm of Fukushima Prefecture.

Experience the charm of Fukushima to the fullest at the "2nd Fukufuku Festival - Unveiling Fukushima's Present"

The Fukufuku Festival, which was first held in Fukuoka City in February 2025 with the aim of promoting the attractions of Fukushima Prefecture, is back and more powerful than ever!

This is the second time the event has been held, and it is titled "The 2nd Fukufuku Festival: Unveiling Fukushima's Present," and is being hosted by the Fukushima Prefecture Osaka Office and held at two venues.

From Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th, 2025, you can enjoy the exhibition and sale of Fukushima products and traditional cultural painting experiences at HiRaKu, a cultural exchange and creation center in Shintencho Shopping Street.

A pop-up cafe will be set up at the VEGETABLE LIFE CAFE by THE KEGO CLUB in Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City from Wednesday, August 20th to Sunday, September 7th, 2025. You can enjoy a cafe menu featuring peaches from Fukushima Prefecture.

[Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th] Experience Fukushima culture and purchase local products at Shintencho Shopping Street!

At the main venue, Shintencho Shopping Arcade's "HiRaKu," a cultural exchange and creation hub, Fukushima Prefecture, known as one of the leading producing areas in Japan, will exhibit and sell peaches and other products from Fukushima Prefecture.

Tasting included! A fun and educational peach class

Fukushima Prefecture is one of the leading peach producing areas in Japan, and peaches from Fukushima are rated as first-class in terms of aroma, sugar content, and texture.

In this course, you will learn about the peach varieties, their seasons, the special cultivation techniques, and the story behind how they are shipped, all of which are reasons why Fukushima peaches are so delicious.

The event will be held from Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th, 2025, with three sessions each day starting at 12:30, 14:30, and 16:00. Participation is free, and includes tastings, samples, and souvenirs.

Due to popular demand, advance reservations are now closed, but if there are spaces available you may be able to participate on the day, so please inquire at the venue.

The store offers around 30 carefully selected popular products, including peaches from Fukushima Prefecture delivered directly from the farm, as well as processed peach products and sweets.

You can purchase carefully selected sake from the many breweries and sake breweries in Fukushima Prefecture, including "Fukurinrin" from Suzuki Sake Brewery, which has made a comeback in the Namie region, and "Niida Honke" in Koriyama.

Free experience painting the traditional craft "Akabeko"
