A popular cheesecake specialty store in Fukuoka has expanded its menu of items that go well with alcohol, including a delicious dish made with half a peach!
Hello. I'm ayu.latte, a writer who loves cafes and has been enjoying cafe hopping for over 20 years. I've visited over 2,000 cafes in total!
This time, I heard that a very popular cheesecake specialty store had been renovated, so I decided to check it out.
Renewed this summer! Cheesecake specialty cafe "COSAELL coffee & cheesecake SHOP" (Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka) open until 11pm
We would like to introduce "COSAELL coffee & cheesecake SHOP," which opened in March 2020.

Located about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin Minami Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line, this cheesecake specialty shop is renowned for its "barista-made cheesecake that pairs perfectly with coffee."

With the desire to create a cheesecake that pairs well with alcohol for adult women, we reopened on July 5th, 2025!

The cheesecake is available for both eat-in and take-out.
The restaurant has counter seats, table seats, and sofa seats, so you can choose depending on who you're going with and your mood.

Free Wi-Fi is also available, making it a comfortable place to stay.

A cheesecake for adults that pairs well with alcohol
This time, the menu lineup has been renewed!
The regular cheesecake menu has increased from 14 to 20 varieties, and "adult cheesecakes" that go well with alcoholic beverages such as wine and whiskey have been added. Of these, 8 are Basque cheesecakes!

Seasonal menus will also be available.
Enjoy the luxury of half a peach! Limited-time eat-in "MOMO"
COSAELL's signature product, the dine-in only "Cheesecake Sandwich," will still be available after the renewal! Until late August 2025 (may be earlier depending on stock), "MOMO" (946 yen) will be available.
"MOMO" is a pistachio cheesecake sandwiched with half a peach. It is layered with yogurt maple whipped cream, cheese crackers, pistachios, and pink peppercorns to make it even more delicious and satisfying than eating the peach alone.

Since the peach is the main attraction, the sweetness of the toppings and cake is kept to a minimum to bring out the sweetness of the peach.
The peaches are fresh, sweet, and juicy, filling your mouth with juice. Hidden inside the peach are raspberry sauce and cream cheese, a perfect combination!
You can eat the pistachio cheesecake alone, which has an irresistible sticky nutty flavor, or you can eat it with peaches!
The caramel sauce around it changes the flavor, making it delicious to the last bite.
If you absolutely want to eat it, we recommend making a reservation ♡
Introducing an original Basque cheesecake
A new item on the menu is Basque cheesecake.
COSAELL is open until late at night, so many customers drink alcohol.
He thought that a smooth and creamy cheesecake like that of a Basque would go well with a palate chilled by cold alcohol, so he added it to the menu.

The photo shows the "Original Basque" (594 yen). The outside is crispy and the inside is soft and creamy, making it irresistible.

This is "Cheese Cheese Cheese" (660 yen), which goes perfectly with alcohol. It debuted as a representative "snack cheesecake"!

The cheeses used range from milky to salty, with the distinctive flavor of gorgonzola adding an accent.
Drizzling with the honey that comes with it adds sweetness and richness, making it very delicious.

For a limited time only, they are also offering "Sake Basque Cheesecake" (660 yen), so don't miss it!

The showcase also sells whole Basque cheesecakes for takeout (from 4,557 yen).

It's also fun to pair with drinks!
As the name suggests, they serve coffee, but they also have a wide variety of drinks on the menu, including iced tea, lattes, and alcoholic beverages, all of which can be paired with cheesecake.
As part of the renovation, a new machine has been installed on the counter that can also be used to warm hot drinks! It is lit up from below, making it particularly beautiful at night.

This makes it easier for baristas to visually check how the drink is mixed, which also has the effect of making the taste more consistent.
I ordered the "Cold Brew Coffee" (594 yen), which has been my favorite since the cafe opened. It has a refreshing taste and pairs perfectly with the cheesecake.

With this latest renewal, COSAELL has switched to using homemade syrup, making it easier than ever to adjust the sweetness and richness of their cheesecake, giving them even more freedom.
Be sure to give it a try! (Text by ayu.latte)
