Popular fried chicken restaurants gather at Maizuru Park!

[May 31st to June 1st, 2025] The 1st Fukuoka Karaage Festival 2025 will be held at Maizuru Park!

The 1st Fukuoka Fried Chicken Festival 2025 will be held at Korokan Square in Maizuru Park from Saturday, May 31st to Sunday, June 1st, 2025 as the 7th installment of the gourmet and entertainment event "Hashigo Yokocho," organized by Yakuin Hashigo Yokocho.

20 famous fried chicken restaurants from around Fukuoka will be gathering!

From Kitakyushu City, "Toriichi" and "Tori no Hokusho", who have each won the "Kitakyushu Fried Chicken Championship" three times in a row, will be competing. From Oita Prefecture, the home of fried chicken, the famous "Moriyama" and "Torian" will be participating.

Of course, popular shops from Fukuoka city will also be gathering. In addition to butcher shops such as "Tanaka Butcher Shop" and "Oniku no Taiyo", there will also be an izakaya, a motsunabe restaurant, and even a fried chicken truck.

There will also be a book of 10 "Karaage Tickets" (1,300 yen) on sale, which allow you to try one piece of karaage from each store, so you can enjoy comparing the different karaage.

You can also vote for your favorite fried chicken, which will determine the winning fried chicken at the 1st Fukuoka Fried Chicken Festival.
