[Hakata Station] "Curious George" dining cafe opens for a limited time! (5/30-8/24)
Since its creation as a character in the picture book "Curious George" published in 1941, "Curious George" has celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2021 and is popular with a wide range of people.
A space that will make you feel like you've entered the world of "Curious George" will be open for a limited time at Hakata Station!
[May 30th to August 24th, 2025] "Curious George" Kitchen will be available for a limited time! (Fukuoka City, JR Hakata City City Dining Kuten)
Curious George Kitchen, a dining cafe based on the popular picture book and TV character Curious George, will open on the 10th floor of City Dining Kuten in JR Hakata City for a limited time from Friday, May 30th to Sunday, August 24th, 2025.

Based on the heartwarming concept story of George and the man in the yellow hat, "Curious George Kitchen" serves up a menu that is "delicious, fun, and spiced up with George's curiosity."

This project has been carried out mainly in Tokyo, but this will be the first time it opens outside of Tokyo.

Additionally, new original goods will be available for pre-sale, including the popular mascots of Handley and Gnocchi wearing chef's hats, as well as tote bags and pouches made of canvas featuring the characters.

This menu is also available for takeout. You can choose to have it with or without a souvenir lunch box, and you can choose one of two box designs (if you don't have the box, it will be served on a plate).
Enjoy a picnic mood with George's smiling lunch box! The "Teriyaki Mentaiko Mayo Chicken Burger" is a flavor exclusive to Hakata. You can enjoy it with a variety of vegetables.

A bucket full of potato and banana chips is hanging from a banana stand! The sauces that come with it are mentaiko mayonnaise, ketchup, and banana sauce. You can enjoy it freely with your favorite sauce.

A pudding a la mode topped with whipped cream and Amaou strawberries. It's full of soft pudding and is very filling. It comes with an original souvenir cup so you can enjoy it at home!

Reservations are recommended! How to use "Curious George Kitchen"
・Seats are limited to 80 minutes.
・Reservations and same-day seating are available, but we recommend making a reservation in advance. Same-day seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations can be made on the "Information page about entering the shop" (https://curiousgeorge-kitchen.jp/about-enter-shop/) on the official Curious George Kitchen website.
・We are currently accepting reservations from Thursday, May 29th to Monday, June 30th. After that, reservations for the following month will open at 12:00 (noon) on the second Tuesday of each month.
・If you only wish to purchase merchandise or take-out items from Curious George Kitchen, you can do so without using the cafe or making a reservation.
George is coming! Greeting events will also be held
On the opening day, Friday, May 30th, there will be a meet and greet event where George will come to the store. You will also be able to take photos with George.
The event is scheduled to be held three times: from 12:00 (for those who have seats at 11:00, 11:30, and 12:00), from 14:00 (for those who have seats at 13:00, 13:30, and 14:00), and from 16:00 (for those who have seats at 15:00, 15:30, and 16:00).
*Photos are limited to one shot per group. *Please bring your own photography equipment. *Details about the greeting event will be announced on the official website.
In addition, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, there will be a "Followers Day" where you can enjoy "Curious George Kitchen" early (this day is open to followers of the official "Curious George Kitchen" account, and reservations must be made via the official website).
