The first in Kyushu! A popular Korean cafe and donut shop opens at Riverwalk Kitakyushu
The popular Korean cafe brand "BONTEMPS" has arrived in Kyushu for the first time!
The Riverwalk Kitakyushu store will open on Friday, April 25, 2025.
The hugely popular Seoul-based donut and coffee shop "BONTEMPS Riverwalk Kitakyushu" (Muromachi, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)
"BONTEMPS" is a popular Korean coffee and donut chain that first arrived in Japan in December 2023. Its first store in Japan, the "Amerikamura Main Store," has become so popular that customers have to wait up to three hours to get in, and the chain is expanding its stores nationwide.
The long-awaited first Fukuoka store will be located on the first floor of Riverwalk Kitakyushu.

The donuts at BONTEMPS are a modern take on the traditional Korean snack "Kwabaegi" (twisted fried donuts). The gentle sweetness that is enjoyed by people of all ages and the gorgeous visuals will get you excited.
The menu also features a wide range of popular Korean drinks, so you can enjoy the latest Korean trends.

Handmade every morning! Unique, crispy and fluffy donuts
They are particular about the freshness of the dough and toppings, and as a rule, all donuts are made and sold out on the same day. They are handmade every morning at each store.
The dough is made without added sugar, taking advantage of the natural sweetness of the ingredients, such as potatoes and pumpkin. Contrary to what you might imagine from its appearance, it has just the right amount of sweetness, is crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and is easy to eat.

In addition to the 15 standard varieties, there are always close to 20 varieties on display, including limited-time items.
Also noteworthy are the new 80's themed products that were released in April 2025. There are four flavors that are particular about color: Brown S'mores (580 yen), Blue Oreo (480 yen), Pinky Chocolate (480 yen), and White Marble (580 yen). They are confident in their retro feel combined with Korean style.
