[New store at Hakata Station] A great gift! Apple pie from Kamakura and a popular bagel store from Kyoto made by a master craftsman

This time we will introduce two stores that will open at Myung, a souvenir shop on the first floor of JR Hakata Station on Friday, April 25th, 2025.

The first store in Fukuoka! Apple pie specialty store "Hakata Mille Mele"

"Mille Mele" is a very popular apple pie specialty store run by Marco Paolo Molinari, a master chef who has won many international competitions in the culinary field, including the "World Pasta Competition" (sponsored by Barilla). The main store is in Kamakura, and has expanded mainly in the Kanto region until now, but it is finally opening in Fukuoka for the first time.

"The World's Best Apple Pie (R)" is made with carefully selected ingredients and a manufacturing process. The crispy pie crust is made with carefully selected flour and cultured butter from France, and is topped with large cut apples that have a crunchy texture, a flavorful special custard cream, and finally a soy milk cheese cream made from fermented soy milk with lactic acid bacteria.

Once you try it, you'll be hooked on the excellent flavor.

Popular Kyoto bagels now available in Hakata! "RABBIT BAGELS"

RABBIT BAGELS is a popular bagel specialty store that operates five stores in Kyoto City. On April 12, 2025, they opened their first store outside of Kyoto, the Ropponmatsu store, located about a three-minute walk from Ropponmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. This will be their first store in Hakata.

These bagels are made with an original recipe based on New York bagels, with a touch of Kyoto flavor. The ingredients are domestic, including wheat from Hokkaido, salt and cane sugar from Okinawa. No preservatives or additives are used. Each bagel is large, with a fluffy and chewy texture that makes people of all ages want to eat them every day.

This time, flavors typical of Fukuoka, such as mentaiko, will also be available.
