[2025 Fukuoka Golden Week Event] "Craft Gyoza Festival" with all 28 varieties gathering at Maizuru Park!

We will bring you information on noteworthy events that are perfect for outings during the holidays.

[April 25th to May 6th, 2025] "Craft Gyoza Festival FUKUOKA 2025" will be held at Maizuru Park

Craft Gyoza Fest® FUKUOKA 2025 is a food event that will showcase the possibilities and trends of gyoza and will be held at Maizuru Park for 12 days from Friday, April 25th to Tuesday, May 6th, 2025. This popular event attracted 165,000 people last year.

Following last year, this will be the second time the event has been held in Fukuoka. This time, 14 gyoza shops, a fried rice booth, and 8 drink and dessert shops will gather. With "flexibility and freedom" as the core, each shop will be showcasing a total of 28 types of craft gyoza that have been created with their own ingenuity.

We offer a wide range of dumplings, including pan-fried, boiled, deep-fried, steamed, and even soup dumplings.

The gyoza are categorized into "makeup" types, in which the gyoza are decorated with corn kernels, miso sauce, and butter in a pop and cute way; "traditional inheritance" types, in which skilled techniques and recipes are highlighted; and the infinite "synergy" types, which create a synergistic effect by combining the strengths of the store and the appeal of the ingredients. The wide variety of options available is sure to get you excited.

This year's focus is on "make-up gyoza," which add color and aroma with sauces and skins.

"Deep-fried Corn Gyoza in Butter and Soy Sauce" (pictured) from "Gyoza and Wine: Fruit Skin and Filling" is made using corn from Tokachi, and is a pop-style deep-fried gyoza made with fragrant butter and soy sauce and corn kernels.

The "Sapporo Miso Butter Clam Gyoza" from the first-time opening "Sushi Yamato" is a collaboration gyoza of the sea and the earth, invented by a sushi restaurant that knows seafood inside and out, and is a unique dish topped with Sapporo miso sauce and butter. The "Sapporo Miso Butter Soup Gyoza" (photo), which is poured with miso soup, will warm your body.

And the "Bistro Konbu and Plum Ginger Soup Gyoza" from "Nikudama Soba Ochi x Asakusa Kaikaro" is a bowl of kelp broth that you'll want to drink up every last drop, topped with a cute pickled plum and ginger.

The "Cheese-Topped Explosively Juicy Round Gyoza" (pictured) is a round gyoza from Gyoza no Miya Denden, a gyoza specialty shop in Saitama, characterized by its bouncy skin, coated in cheese sauce, and the piping hot meat juice will overflow into your mouth.
