This time, we will introduce a store that opened on March 10, 2025 in Nagaoka, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

Codomodo is a bagel specialty store that opened about a two-minute walk from the Nishitetsu bus stop, Nagazumi 2-chome.

The gold store name stands out against the white exterior, creating a stylish atmosphere that makes you feel like you're overseas.

The interior of the store is based on white, and the sophisticated space is sure to excite you.

There are about 10 kinds of bagels and focaccias on display in the store, as well as 3-4 types of sandwiches, and a wide lineup ranging from sweets to savory dishes.

It seems that many people buy them as souvenirs, as well as for their own home.

You can also reserve bagels by phone from 10am on the day, so if there's a bagel you want, we recommend having it reserved for you.

Made with carefully selected ingredients! Bagels packed with attention to detail

Codomodo's bagels are made with carefully selected ingredients, including domestic wheat, domestic vegetables, Aso natural water, and extra virgin olive oil, and are carefully crafted one by one.

It's not too sweet and has a low salt content, so it's a flavor that people of all ages will love.

All of them are appealing, but I'll introduce the five types of bagels that I found particularly appealing.

The most popular is "Plain" (220 yen).

Because it's simple, the natural flavor of the ingredients really stands out.

The chewy and fluffy texture makes it easy for even small children to eat.

It's delicious as is, of course, but we also recommend warming it up in the toaster and topping it with butter or cream cheese.

Black round mentaiko

The visually impressive "Kuromaru Mentaiko" (280 yen).

Bamboo charcoal is kneaded into the pitch black dough.

There's plenty of mentaiko not only on the surface, but inside too! You can enjoy the deliciousness of mentaiko no matter where you bite into it.

Cinnamon Coffee

"Cinnamon Coffee" (300 yen) is recommended as a pairing with coffee.

The bagel dough is wrapped around cinnamon sugar paste and baked, so when you break it open, the aroma of cinnamon fills the air. It is topped with coffee icing.

Bean jam butter sandwich

"An Butter Sandwich" (400 yen) filled with plenty of bean paste and Takachiho butter.

The refreshing flavor of cultured butter and the lightly sweet bean paste cooked by the chef go perfectly with the bagel!

Kyushu vegetable sandwich

The colorful "Kyushu Vegetable Sandwich" (420 yen).

The cute pink beet bagel is stuffed with crunchy purple cabbage rapée, kale, and mashed potatoes.

Not only bagels, but takeaway drinks are also available.

There are two types: "Coffee (Hot/Cold)" (220 yen) and "Latte (Hot/Cold)" (300 yen).

The iced latte I ordered was smooth and delicious, and I could gulp it down in one gulp.

On April 24, 2025, the second store will open in ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City.
