Hello. I'm Yuri and I love ramen and all kinds of noodles.

This time, we will introduce a restaurant in Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City where you can enjoy delicious dandan noodles.

A casual atmosphere but authentic cuisine! Chinese restaurant "Hitosuji Sumiyoshi Branch" (Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

"Hitosuji Sumiyoshi Store" is located about a 12-minute walk from JR Hakata Station and right in front of the Nishitetsu Sumiyoshi bus stop.

This popular restaurant has a reputation for offering casual Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices.

It's open from 6pm to 2am the following morning (1am on Sundays and public holidays), so you can use it late into the night too.

The interior of the restaurant is decorated with many autographs of famous people, and has a clean, homey atmosphere that makes it easy to come in alone. There are counter seats and table seats.

Each person was limited to one order, and seats could only be used for up to two hours.

The restaurant currently offers 13 types of noodle dishes.

They have a wide variety of noodle dishes available, but their signature dish is the dandan noodles, with options including "Dandan Noodles" (900 yen), "Black Sesame Dandan Noodles" (900 yen), "Spicy Dandan Noodles" (930 yen), "Cheese Dandan Noodles" (1,000 yen), and "Black Sesame Cheese Dandan Noodles" (1,000 yen).

You can choose the spiciness from 1 to 10 depending on your preference (+50 yen for each level of spiciness). You can choose "thin noodles" or "thick noodles". Extra noodles are +150 yen, and extra noodles (thin noodles) are 150 yen.

This time, I ordered the "Dandan noodles" (900 yen).

The special soup is made using carefully selected parent chicken bones and momiji (the foot part of chicken bones).

It is cooked slowly over a long period of time to extract stock and collagen.

The dish is a taste that the owner is proud of.

It's not the super rich type with lots of sesame paste that's common these days, but rather a light and smooth soup that's classic and delicious.

The red color is striking and the spiciness is straightforward, but the meat miso is sweetened with sweet bean paste, which is also very delicious. When mixed with the soup, it becomes just the right amount of spiciness.

The noodles (I chose thick noodles this time) are medium-thick, curly noodles.

The high water content gives it a plump texture that is irresistible. The soup mixes with it just right, making it a great snack to go down.
