Tomorrow, January 15th, is Strawberry Day.

The popular annual strawberry buffet will be starting at Hotel New Otani Hakata in Watanabedori, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City!

Limited event for 14 days! Hotel New Otani Hakata "Sweets Buffet 2025 ~ Strawberry Picking at the Hotel~"

"Sweets Buffet 2025: Strawberry Picking at the Hotel" will be held for 14 days only, from Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 to Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, at the cafe and restaurant "Green House" on the first floor of "Hotel New Otani Hakata."

Reservations must be made in advance on the official website, and the event will be held on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th January, Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th February, Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th, Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th, Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th March, and Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th, Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th April.

The times are from 16:30, 17:00, 18:30, and 19:00, and each session is 100 minutes long.

The price is 6,800 yen for adults (junior high school students and above), 4,500 yen for elementary school students, and 1,000 yen for preschoolers (ages 4 to 6). You can add the "Free Flow Draft Wine" option (2,000 yen).

"Welcome Sweets" is a mini version of the New Otani Group's luxurious cake, "New Extra Super Amaou Shortcake"!

The main ingredient, "Hakata Amaou," is brought out by two types of dough, each made with fresh cream from Omuta, "brown rice eggs," and "J cereal," as well as the refreshing aroma and flavor of lychee, a secret ingredient.

This is the "ultimate shortcake" that offers a luxurious taste.

The lineup includes about 30 types of strawberry sweets, including the classic and hugely popular "Super Series," the "Amaou Napoleon Pie" that everyone will fall in love with for its combination of Amaou and special custard cream and pie crust, "Iwaizumi Yogurt Jelly (Amaou)" made with Iwaizumi yogurt from Iwate Prefecture, "The ICHIGO" (buffet only) made with strawberry mousse that looks just like a real strawberry, "Macarons" that are a hidden favorite among buffet fans, and other strawberry sweets such as "Strawberry Daifuku," "Frays Chocolat," "Strawberry Mont Blanc," and "ICHIGO Caramel Roll"!
