A special feeling of being in nature! A cafe where you can casually "experience the feeling of camping" (Saga Prefecture)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.

This time, we will introduce a cafe in Kanzaki City, Saga Prefecture where parents and children can experience the outdoors together.

Enjoy the camping experience! Nokuras Cafe, a shop and cafe offering outdoor experiences and household goods (Kanzaki City, Saga Prefecture)

Nokuras Cafe is located about an hour's drive from Fukuoka city, about 10 minutes from the Higashi-Sefuri Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway, and next to the Kanzaki Police Station.

A house manufacturer called "Place Home" has been operating as a store that handles "Urban Outdoor," a product of outdoor manufacturer "Snow Peak," since 2017. There is an experiential cafe opposite the shop that sells "Snow Peak" products.

The concept is "playing in the garden." There is no eat-in space in the cafe, so you can only use take-out or the garden (terrace seats). Dogs are also welcome.

Tents are available by reservation only, and reservations can be made by DM on Instagram up to two hours before the day. In winter, they will provide a stove inside the tent to keep you warm.
*One order per person. Tents vary in size depending on the number of people using them, so they cannot be chosen.

Grass sledding and house-play! A charming garden that will delight children

When the weather is nice, we recommend spending time playing in the garden.

The sleds were available to rent for free, which got the kids excited and delighted!

It quickly became one of the kids' favorite places, and we ended up staying there for quite some time.

You can also experience roasting marshmallows over a bonfire.

The cafe menu, unique to the outdoors, is also appealing! (Curry sales are currently suspended.)

These are "Honwakato Pudding" (430 yen each) and "Caffe Latte (HOT)" (450 yen).

The pudding, made with free-range eggs and Honwaka sugar, has a smooth texture and a gentle sweetness. It also has a rich, bitter caramel flavor, making it delicious.

It was a chilly day, but eating it while warming myself by the campfire warmed both my body and soul.

We also recommend the camping staple "roasted marshmallows" (300 yen)♪

If you bring the marshmallows too close to the fire, they will burn, so the trick is to imagine them melting with the heat around them.

Place chocolate and toasted marshmallows on top of a cookie, sandwich it between another cookie, remove the bamboo skewer and it's done!

All necessary equipment will be provided, so you can enjoy the experience empty-handed.

The children seemed very satisfied to have the opportunity to roast marshmallows, something they had always wanted to do.

Even though we are camping beginners, our family enjoyed it and had a very fulfilling holiday.
