"Sapporo Soup Curry Robinson Spice" is located a 5-minute drive from Nishitetsu Sakuranamiki Station.

This authentic soup curry restaurant inherits the taste of the famous Sapporo restaurant "Soup Curry Picanti" featured in the "Michelin Guide Hokkaido 2017 Special Edition." Look for the brick building and the red sign with a map of Hokkaido.

Choose your main ingredient, soup, spiciness, and amount of rice and place your order.

Orders are placed using the touch panel on the table.

First, choose your main dish. The signature dish is "Crispy PICA Chicken" (1,860 yen). There are 10 other dishes, including the increasingly popular "Robin Burger" (1,860 yen), "Grilled Chicken" (1,820 yen), "Seared Pork" (1,950 yen), "Beef Tendon Stew" (1,990 yen), and "Bacon Egg Cheese" (1,820 yen).

All dishes contain the main dish as well as 12 types of basic vegetables (cabbage, potato, carrot, eggplant, pumpkin, bell pepper, lotus root, radish, broccoli, mizuna, paprika, and purple cabbage) plus one quail's egg.

Next, choose the type of soup.

There are four types of soup available: the restaurant's standard "3.8 Billion Year Wind," which allows you to experience the rich, full-bodied flavor of pork bone broth; "Ayurvedic Medicinal Food" (+120 yen), a rich and flavorful medicinal soup made from a blend of spices known as herbal medicines; "Ebi Kerapirika" (+150 yen), which has a fragrant shrimp broth; and "Gati" (+150 yen), which is mild and flavorful and contains coconut milk.

Next, choose the level of spiciness. Level 1 is about the same level of spiciness as commercially available roux.

Levels 1 to 10 are free. After that, there are levels 15 (+50 yen), 20 (+100 yen), 25 (+150 yen), 30 (+220 yen), 35 (+280 yen), and 40 (+350 yen), which are recommended for those who like extra spicy food.

The rice is turmeric rice. You can choose the amount.

In addition to the "Medium (180g)" shown in the photo, there are also "Mini (80g)", "Small (130g)", "Large (300g)" (+100 yen), "Extra Large (400g)" (+180 yen), "Mega (500g)" (+270 yen), and even "Pyramid (1kg)" (+560 yen)!

Plus, you can add toppings for an additional fee!

There is a wide variety of options available, such as "Chopped Natto," "Deep-fried Broccoli" (+120 yen each), "Seared Cheese," "Three Quail Eggs" (+160 yen each), "Two Crispy Wieners" (+190 yen), "Thick-Sliced Seared Pork" (+250 yen), "Three Boiling Shrimp" (+330 yen), and "Four Octopus Zangi" (+400 yen), so you can arrange them to your liking.

Very satisfying! "Robin Burger" with an addictive spice flavor

On this day, I chose the "Robinburg" (1,860 yen). The spiciness level was 1, and the soup was "3.8 billion years of wind." I topped it with "grilled cheese" (+160 yen).

The light soup is full of complex spice flavor and umami. I ordered the spiciness level 1, but it had a numbing aftertaste! If it's your first time trying it, be careful not to be too adventurous.

However, it was so delicious that even though I was sweating, I couldn't stop eating it! It has an addictive taste, so it's no wonder that there are so many repeat customers.

The hamburger steak is soft and juicy, and goes perfectly with the soup.

It was quite a large portion, but it was packed with vegetables and very nutritious, so I didn't feel guilty at all (laughs).

It's packed with ingredients like sausages and pumpkin, and the rice itself is quite voluminous. It's great value for money!
