This time, we will introduce a cafe where you can enjoy low-carb sweets in a stylish space.

Zero guilt!? "Choco, Cheese and Me" (Minato, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City), a stylish cafe that serves delicious, voluminous, low-sugar sweets

"Chocolate and Cheese and Me" opened in October 2023. It is a sister store of the popular cafe "Gilfry Cafe" in Tenjin.

The restaurant is located about a 7-minute walk from Ohori Park Station on the Subway Kuko Line, right next to Kamome Hiroba in Minato, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City. Look for the red door.

Once you enter the store by climbing the brick staircase, you'll find a stylish space surrounded by inorganic walls. The wooden interior and dried flowers create a chic and relaxed atmosphere...!

At the top of the stairs at the back, there is a sunken kotatsu seating area. This area is also decorated with dried flowers and artwork, allowing you to relax in a more private space.

There are also counter seats, so even if you are alone you can feel free to come here.

There is a terrace seating area outside, where you can enjoy the view of the harbor while feeling the sea breeze, making it a particularly pleasant place to spend the cooler months!

Orders are made via QR code. The menu shows detailed information such as product images, descriptions, and even the number of grams of carbohydrates, which is great!

Now, let me introduce some popular low-carb sweets.

Delicious and filling! Cute looking low-sugar sweets♪

The sweets are made according to unique recipes supervised by a pharmacist and use the healthy, natural sweetener "Lakanto" instead of sugar.

As the name of the shop suggests, you can enjoy a wide variety of low-sugar sweets, mainly "choco" and "cheese". The presentation is very careful, so you can see that they also care about the appearance!

First up is the "Rich Chocolate Cookie Sandwich" (550 yen). It has 15.2g of carbohydrates.

This cookie sandwich is made with 72% high-cocoa chocolate from Belgium. The combination of the thick, rich chocolate and the crispy cookie is an irresistible treat for chocolate lovers.

Next is the "Two-layered Chocolate Basque Cheesecake" (770 yen). It has 23.2g of carbohydrates.

It is made up of two layers: chocolate Basque cheesecake and a melting ganache. It tastes even better with fresh cream and fruit. The sourness of the berry sauce adds an accent, so you won't get bored of eating it!

And the "Black Sesame and Rare Cheese" (770 yen) has 11.7g of carbohydrates.

This also has a two-layer structure, allowing you to enjoy both the slightly sweet and smooth black sesame cheese and the light texture of the rare cheese. This is a must-try dessert for black sesame lovers!

目の前で炙ってくれるケーキ!?

This is the "Three kinds of melting Basque cheesecake grilled" (660 yen). It has a very low sugar content of 6.97g.

This is a lightly sweet cake with an exquisite contrast between the crispy crust and moist cheesecake.

All the sweets were so delicious and filling that it was hard to believe they were low carb, which is great news for health-conscious people and those on diets.

A wide variety of drinks to accompany your sweets, from sweet lattes to healthy teas

The cafe has a one drink per person system, and the drink menu has a wide variety of options. Pictured here are "Coffee" (left, 500 yen) and "Cafe Latte" (right, 660 yen).

And the popular "Salacia Tea" (500 yen). This is a hot topic health tea that is gaining attention from people who are conscious about their blood sugar levels and fat breakdown. It is said to be good to drink before or during meals.

The taste characteristics are very similar to roasted green tea, with a mellow texture and a slight sweetness.
