This time, we will introduce the sweets buffet being held at the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk hotel, which is adjacent to Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka.

Weekends and holidays only! "Autumn Sunset Sweets Buffet - Venus Belt" now being held at Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk (Jigyohama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)

The "Autumn Sunset Sweets Buffet - Venus Belt" is being held at Brasserie & Lounge Seala on the 4th floor of the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk.

Only available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until October 27, 2024, from 15:30 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30), with a maximum of 90 minutes. Adults (13 years and older) 4,500 yen, 4 to 12 years old 3,000 yen. *Students aged 13 and older can pay 4,000 yen by making a reservation on the official website and showing their student ID.

The concept of this buffet is the "Venus Belt," a meteorological phenomenon in which a pale pink gradient appears in the sky for a short period of time after sunset.

In the venue, which is filled with an emotional world inspired by the Venus Belt, you can enjoy approximately 20 types of emotionally stirring sweets and savory dishes inspired by beautiful yet somewhat ephemeral phenomena.

Drinks include coffee (hot/iced) and four types of tea.

The buffet table was filled with autumn-colored sweets that would make you want to take photos!

The white base and elegant floral decorations make for a very photogenic atmosphere. From the sweets to the decorations, everything is photogenic. At dusk, the atmosphere becomes even more romantic.

There was a wide variety of sweets on display, including "Pumpkin Mont Blanc Tartlet," "Lemon Cream Croissant," "Maple Panna Cotta and Persimmon Coulis," "Chocolate and Cheese Brownie," "White Chocolate, Orange and Fig Cake," "Chocolate and Caramel Apple Mousse," "Apple and Blackberry Crumble," and "Chocolate Fountain," but I'll introduce the ones that caught my eye.

The "Chocolate and Pear Sunset Cake" is a dish topped with pears soaked in blood orange juice. The sunset-like color is beautiful! It is also sprinkled with almond flakes.

"Twilight Macaron" is a caramel-flavored dessert that is reminiscent of a sunset. It has an exquisite sweetness and goes perfectly with black tea. It was very delicious.

The Mandarin Sunset Cake is inspired by the mandarin, a citrus fruit. The vibrant orange color is beautiful! Refreshing mandarin jelly is contained within the creamy mandarin mousse. The combination of the two mandarins was exquisite.

The jiggly mousse is not too sweet, so you could eat as many as you want!

The "Raspberry Pear Trifle" is served in a very stylish glass! Just looking at it is mesmerizing.

"Twilight Champagne Jelly" is a fantastical sweet that represents "twilight," the time when the sky is still a little bright after sunset. Sweet grapes are wrapped in champagne jelly. The sparkling silver foil is elegant!

I especially loved the "Baklava - Chef's Special"! This is a dish the chef is proud of, a Japanese take on the traditional Turkish dessert "baklava," which has become one of the most popular sweets in recent years, with the sweetness adjusted to give it a Japanese twist. The scent of roses wafts through the air. I was so hooked on the crispy texture and addictive flavor that I ended up eating several pieces.

Recommended for a late lunch! The savory section is also well stocked

One of the attractions of this buffet is that it offers not only sweets but also a wide variety of savory dishes (light meals).

You can enjoy dishes such as "chicken and vegetable stew," "grilled pork with teriyaki sauce," and even "pasta with shrimp in creamy green pea sauce," so it's also a great place for a late lunch.
