A new store of a popular restaurant that always has a long line! Hamburg steak "Kiwamiya Hakata Station Underground Mall Store" (Hakata Station Central Street, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

"Kiwamiya" is a super popular hamburger restaurant that always has long lines at its "Fukuoka Parco store" in Fukuoka city and its "Hakata store" facing the street on the first floor of Hakata Bus Terminal.

The new "Gokumi-ya Hakata Station Underground Mall Store" has opened in the "Hakata Station Underground Mall" located underground at JR Hakata Station. It is a hot spot with a variety of fashion and gourmet shops.

As a "delicious oniku specialty store," "Gokumi-ya" has expanded into various types of stores, including yakiniku restaurants, motsunabe restaurants, beef tongue restaurants, and hamburger restaurants.

The Hakata Station underground mall store is the eighth hamburger restaurant in the country.

The restaurant is an open space with no doors, and you can hear the delicious sizzling sounds from the row of counter seats outside!

Each table is equipped with a roaster that absorbs smoke and oil. Therefore, the inside of the restaurant is not smoky, and the smell does not transfer to clothes, which is a nice point. It seems like it can be used in any scene without worrying about plans after the meal.

There is also a luxurious "W Set"! Enjoy Imari beef steak and Kyushu Kuroge Wagyu beef hamburger steak

When it comes to the hamburger restaurant "Gokumi-ya," their two main attractions are the "Specially Selected Imari Beef Steak" (from 2,178 yen), which allows you to enjoy Saga Prefecture's highest quality A5 rank steak at an affordable price, and the "Gokumi-ya Hamburger Steak" (from 1,188 yen), which is a unique blend of Kyushu-produced Kuroge Wagyu beef and domestic beef.

This time I ordered the M size "Hamburg steak (160g) + Imari beef steak (60g)" (2,706 yen) set menu, which allows you to enjoy both. Hamburg steak is also available in a S size of 120g (2,376 yen) and a L size of 200g (2,706 yen). *All Imari beef steaks are 60g in size.

The best thing about "Gokumi-ya" is that you can grill it to your liking! When the meat is served, you press it onto the hot stone with your silver chopsticks.

At that moment, a fragrant aroma fills the air and you can enjoy the sound of the food being cooked. When the hot stones cool down, they will be replaced with new hot stones, so you can enjoy freshly cooked food until the very end!

The wide variety of sauces available is also appealing.

You can choose one from eight types: "Gokumi-ya's Sweet Sauce," "Gokumi-ya's Meat Sauce," "Onion Sauce," "Himalayan Rock Salt," "Wasabi Soy Sauce," "Yuzu Pepper Ponzu," "Refreshing Lemon," and "Spicy Red Sauce" (you can choose two for an additional 50 yen).

This time, I chose "Gokumi-ya's Sweet Sauce" and "Himalayan Rock Salt."

The sweet sauce in particular is sure to go down a treat with rice! My favorite was the simple "Himalayan rock salt" which brought out the flavor of the meat even more.

You'll want to come back again and again to try all the different sauces.

We also recommend adding the "Set" (440 yen) which includes rice cooked in a hagama pot, miso soup, salad, and soft serve ice cream. Amazingly, you can have as many refills as you like!

Popular with both domestic and foreign tourists, there is always a long line at "Gokumi-ya." Many people are seen lining up with carry-on bags.

It gets busy from opening until just after lunch, but it is relatively quiet between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. If you want to reduce your wait time even a little, it's probably a good idea to visit at this time.
