Opened in May 2022, this patisserie is run by a talented chef who trained in France.

The restaurant's name, "Chef Sissi," means "Sissi's House" in French. "Sissi" was the owner-chef's nickname when he was training in France, and the restaurant's name expresses the desire for customers to have a good time as if they were visiting a friend's house.

The shop's exterior is made of glass, and the gold-lettered logo is stylish and very fashionable.

Once you try it, you'll be hooked on the deliciousness of "Sunnon Can"

The shop's specialty is the "Sunnon Can" (18 pieces for 2,400 yen). This cookie can has been featured in magazines and exhibited at department store events in the Kansai region, making it a popular choice among lovers of baked goods.

It's very popular and often sells out, so we recommend making a reservation by phone in advance.

Mont Blanc

First up is the "Mont Blanc" (780 yen), a must-have for anyone who likes chestnut sweets.

The crispy and fragrant pie is filled with almond cream blended with chestnut cream and a large chestnut. The soft chestnut, with a hint of rum, is smooth like cream and very satisfying to eat.

Beautifully presented and delicious "freshly baked sweets"

Be sure to check out the fresh sweets too! We will introduce two of them. *Fresh sweets are changed on an irregular basis.

Gateau Macaron

First up is the cute pink "Gâteau Macaron" (700 yen).

I was expecting it to have a sweet taste, but I was surprised at how refreshing it was! The secret to its refreshing taste was the sweet and sour mango and passion fruit cream, and the fresh raspberries.

I would also recommend these to people who don't like macarons because they are too sweet.

Sis

Next is the chocolate cake "Sis" (680 yen).

"Six" is made up of a total of six different chocolate parts. The rich, fruity chocolate melts smoothly in your mouth and has a clean aftertaste.

It's a lot of fun trying to figure out which of the six different parts it is, so we highly recommend it for chocolate lovers.

Carefully handcrafted baked goods

One of the attractions of this patisserie is that you can find baked goods that you would not normally get to see.

Brioche Saint Juni

One of them is the Brioche Saint-Juni (550 yen).

The gorgeous red colored almonds are eye-catching. When you put a generous portion of the moist and soft brioche dough into your mouth, the aroma and sweetness of the butter fills your mouth and is irresistible. It's quite large, but it's so delicious that you'll find yourself eating it all in one go.

There won't be many on display in the store, so if you're interested, we recommend making a reservation.

Cake Caramel Abricot

They also have a wide selection of classic sweets, one of which is the "Cake Caramel Abricot" (280 yen).

The moist dough has a bittersweet caramel flavor that spreads in your mouth. The sweet and sour semi-dried apricots have a plump texture that makes it very satisfying to eat. You can also really taste the alcohol, so it's a recommended snack for adults.
