The highly anticipated morning meal at the izakaya that has a long line! "Silver Salmon Don" fish set meal available from 9am (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Hello. I'm Mai Ito, an FBS announcer.

This time, we will introduce a robatayaki restaurant that can be enjoyed both in the morning and at night, which was visited on the "Ah ne! Like! Live" segment of "Mentai Wide" (FBS Fukuoka Broadcasting).

A sister store of the popular izakaya in Haruyoshi! "Robatano Itokashi" (Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City) has opened in Ropponmatsu

Robata no Itokashi is located in Ropponmatsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, about a three-minute walk from Ropponmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line.

It opened in April 2024 as a sister restaurant of "Uo to Sakana Ito Okashi," a popular izakaya restaurant in Haruyoshi, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, known for its delicious fish breakfasts.

All seats are at the counter, and the food is prepared right in front of you on the robata grill, giving it a very special feel.

One of the reasons this restaurant is so popular is its breakfast! The set meals available from 9am on weekdays often have long queues.

The standard breakfast dish is the "Silver Salmon Set Meal" (1,800 yen).

The large, thick salmon fillets have a great presence!

The food is slowly cooked using far infrared rays and then finished on the hearth right in front of you.

The outside is crispy and the inside is fluffy!

The salmon they use is from Chile, which the owner has eaten around the world and considers to be the tastiest.

It's hard to believe from the looks of it, but this magnificent salmon is actually dried fish.

All of the dried fish in the shop, including the salmon, are homemade and are characterized by their volume and meatiness, which is surprising for dried fish.

Breakfast is served from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (last order 12:00 pm), so you can come here for breakfast or an early lunch.

Delicious ingredients made even more delicious! A variety of menu items packed with the owner's particular preferences

Dinnertime from 5pm is served in an izakaya style, so you can enjoy your meal with alcohol! Of course, there is a full menu of fish dishes to enjoy.

Of all the menu items, the one that required the most trial and error is the "Magu-Romori" (980 yen).

In the photo above, from the right, there is pickled medium fatty tuna, mirin-dried fish brain, and soy sauce-dried cheek meat. Each of the three cuts is seasoned differently, and each is topped with a different condiment.

Each cut of meat is cooked to its fullest potential, right in front of you.

There is also a clay pot menu.

The "Silver Salmon and Child Clay Pot" (1,800 yen) is a dish of white rice cooked in a clay pot topped with plenty of homemade dried salmon and salmon roe.

The fluffy, sweet rice and fatty, flavorful salmon, accented with the crunchy texture of salmon roe, make for a delicious treat.

There is a wide variety of menu items other than fish.

Another popular menu item is "Nikutofu" (1,480 yen).

The beef is well-marbled and firm tofu is cooked thoroughly in a sweet broth, allowing the flavors to seep in.

You can also finish off your meal by turning the beef broth into a risotto for an additional 250 yen.
