Upgrade your rice in an instant! [MUJI] "Furikake made with ingredients" taste review
My name is Masayo Sakamoto, a writer who loves MUJI.
This time, we will introduce the "Furikake that makes the most of the ingredients" series, which has a reputation on social media as being "addicted!" There are five types in total, all of which are moist and soft-type furikake. You can see them from outside the package, but they look so good that you might as well call them "ingredients."
This time, I'd like to introduce three of my favorite types from the "Furikake that makes the most of the ingredients" series.
1: Sweet and delicious! "Squid and kelp furikake that makes the most of the ingredients"
First up is the "Squid and Kombu Furikake" (290 yen), which makes the most of the ingredients. It has received a high rating of 4.6 out of 5 in reviews on the official website.
The main ingredients are squid, kelp, sesame, krill, and seaweed. Each bag contains 55g and is 145kcal.
You'll be addicted to the sweet and salty snack-like flavor!
The soft, fluffy flavor of the seaweed spreads throughout your mouth, and the sweet taste is sure to be popular with children.
2: The most moist in the series!? "Plum and Hijiki Furikake"
This is "Plum and Hijiki Furikake" (290 yen), which makes the most of the ingredients.
The main ingredients are plum, hijiki, sesame, and dried red shiso. Each bag contains 55g and has 114kcal.
All of the furikake in this series are moist, but I felt that this "Furikake that makes the most of the ingredients - Plum and Hijiki" was the most moist. It's so moist that it almost seems like the flavor of the hijiki is seeping out.
In addition to the strong sourness of the red shiso, you can also taste the umami flavor of bonito and kelp.
The crunchy small plums were a nice accent.
3: Filled with delicious ingredients! "Plum and Chirimen Furikake"
The last dish is "Plum and Chirimen Furikake" (290 yen), which makes the most of the ingredients.
Packed with ingredients such as plum, dried small sardines, krill, sesame, dried red shiso, processed cod paste, dried seasoned Nozawana, hijiki, wakame, and more! Each bag contains 50g and is 103kcal.
It's so luxurious that this furikake contains as many as nine different ingredients!
The sourness of the red shiso and the saltiness of the dried baby sardines go really well together.
The texture is firm, so the more you chew the more you can taste the flavor of the ingredients, and it was really tasty.
The "Furikake that makes the most of the ingredients" series does not contain any preservatives, so after opening, store in the refrigerator and use as soon as possible.
Not only can it be used on white rice, but it can also be used as a topping for tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), pasta, udon, toast, salad, and more - the possibilities for variation are endless. Be sure to try finding your favorite furikake. (Text by Masayo Sakamoto)
