This time, we will introduce a cafe in Yukuhashi City that is popular for its lunch that comes with a large cake.

ISUZU CAFE (Yukuhashi City): Popular for its fresh pasta made with carefully selected ingredients and large cakes

Located about a 5-minute walk from JR Yukuhashi Station, ISUZU CAFE is a popular cafe that serves fresh pasta and large cakes made with seasonal vegetables and fruits.

There is parking space for five cars in front of the store, so it is easy to come by car.

The name of the shop is written in large letters on the white building, so it's easy to find even if it's your first time here.

The first thing that catches your eye when you enter the shop is the many cakes lined up in the display case! You'll be amazed at the size of each piece.

The interior of the store has a natural atmosphere with a brown base color. The wallpaper and lighting are very stylish.

There are eight seats in total, including tables that seat two and four people. There is also a nursing room and a Bumbo (baby sofa), so it is easy to use even if you have small children.

There are also many baked goods and gifts on display, so it's fun to look at them while waiting for your meal.

"Isuzu Lunch" where you can enjoy pasta and cakes

Our target is the "Isuzu Lunch" (2,508 yen), available only from 11am to 3pm, which allows you to enjoy both the popular fresh pasta and a hearty cake.

The set includes your choice of pasta, an appetizer, a drink, and cake.

Let's start with the appetizer.

The appetizers were served as an assortment, with salad, soup, ratatouille, and toast on one plate. The appetizers alone were filling enough. *The contents may change as seasonal vegetables are used.

Next is the main dish, pasta. You can choose from about 15 different types, including "tomato base," "cream base," "oil base," and "seasonal pasta." I chose the autumn-only menu "Autumn Eggplant and Bacon Carbonara" (1,408 yen a la carte), which will be available until the end of October.

The chewy fresh pasta noodles are coated in a rich sauce, making for a delicious dish ♡ Autumn eggplant is very juicy and pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the bacon.

Mixing in the soft-boiled egg gives it a mellow flavor, and it's hard to stop eating it!

For dessert, you can choose your favorite cake from the display case, which has about 10 varieties. The cakes at Isuzu Cafe are about 1.5 times the size of regular cakes!

This time I ordered the Mont Blanc (885 yen for takeout, 902 yen for eat-in).

The fluffy sponge is topped with rum-flavored Mont Blanc cream and plenty of fresh cream. It has a mild flavor and is not too sweet, so you can eat it all in one go, even after eating pasta.

Other cakes available include "Gâteau au Chocolat" (734 yen for takeout, 748 yen for eat-in if purchased alone) and "Seasonal Tart" made with seasonal fruits (950 yen for takeout, 968 yen for eat-in if purchased alone).

You can choose from nine types of drinks: "Coffee (HOT/ICE)", "Black Tea (HOT/ICE)", "Black Oolong Tea (HOT/ICE)", "Milk (HOT/ICE)", "100% Orange Juice", "100% Apple Juice", "Coca-Cola", "Ginger Ale", and "Staff Special Drink".

It was so much fun to wait for the brewing time in the hourglass. The freshly brewed coffee had a clean aftertaste and was easy to drink, making it perfect after a meal.

Recommended for cafe time ♡ "Cake set"

For those who want to enjoy a relaxing cafe time with cake and a drink, we recommend the "Cake Set" (cake price + 528 yen) ♪ You can choose your favorite cake from the display case. You can choose from 9 types of drinks, just like "Isuzu Lunch".

This is the recommended "New York Cheesecake" (842 yen for takeout, 858 yen for eat-in if purchased separately).

Despite its large and heavy appearance, it falls apart gently when you put a fork into it.

It's very creamy and rich when you put it in your mouth! The sourness of the lemon adds a refreshing accent. You'll definitely be satisfied with just this one♪

Take-out snacks also available!

Many customers order baked goods and cakes for takeout, so it's nice that you can drop in any time.

I ordered the recommended "Fresh Fruit Cake" (take-out 950 yen, eat-in 968 yen).

The fluffy sponge and lightly sweetened fresh cream are topped with so many colorful fruits that they look like they might spill out.

The sweetness of various fruits bursts in your mouth and it's delicious ♡ This is a cake that we recommend to everyone from children to seniors.

They also have a wide selection of cookies and other baked goods♪ From the left, the items I purchased were "Chocolate Financier" (takeout 324 yen, eat-in 330 yen), "Dinosaur Cookie" (takeout 302 yen, eat-in 308 yen), and "Galette" (takeout 280 yen, eat-in 286 yen).

"Chocolat Financier" is a rare donut-shaped financier. It is crispy when you put it in your mouth, and you can enjoy the delicious moistness of chocolate when you taste it.

"Dinosaur Cookies" are not too sweet, have a crunchy texture, and are perfect as a snack. They are cute cookies that children will love.

The galette was thick but crispy and had a rich buttery taste.
