Hello. I'm Momo and I love to eat.

This time, we will introduce a cafe located in Nishisayagaya-cho, Tobata-ku, Kitakyushu city.

A stylish cafe where you can enjoy an "unusual" lunch: "Sayagatani Garden Agulhas Cafe" (Nishisayagatani-cho, Tobata-ku, Kitakyushu City)

Sayagatani Garden Agulhas Cafe is located about 3 minutes by car from Shimoitotsu IC on the Kitakyushu Urban Expressway and near the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, the white building surrounded by greenery is an impressive sight.

This is the first floor. The glass-walled cafe space is filled with light and is surrounded by nature, creating a bright and stylish atmosphere.

There is a large symbolic tree outside that apparently has green leaves all year round.

In fact, this cafe is attached to a cute white chapel and is also a popular venue for garden weddings.

Because of this, the cafe may be closed on wedding days, so it is essential to make a reservation by phone if you wish to go.

Enjoy a unique set menu lunch

There are six different lunch options available, including the "Daily Pasta Lunch" (1,870 yen), "Beef Steak Lunch (120g)" (2,640 yen), and "Today's Full Course Lunch with Fish and Meat" (2,750 yen). All sets come with a "daily appetizer," "daily salad and soup," "daily dessert," and "drink."

This time, we will introduce two types of lunch sets.

First, we have the common "daily appetizer."

The beans, potato salad wrapped in prosciutto, and omelet are all very colorful! They are well seasoned, and even just the appetizers are satisfyingly filling.

Next was the "Salad and Soup of the Day." The soup of the day was "Vegetable Soup."

This hearty soup is packed with vegetables such as cabbage, carrots, onions, and edamame. You can really taste the flavor of the vegetables, it's delicious!

Lunch course using today's meat

Now the main dishes come. The first one is the "Lunch Course Using Today's Meat" (1,980 yen).

The meat menu for the day was "Hamburg steak". It was a very large hamburg steak, and the sauce was rich, sweet and delicious.

The colorful seasonal vegetables served with the meal are also included. Two pieces of bread are included, and you can add butter to your liking.

Omelet rice & beef stew lunch

The second is the "Omelette Rice & Beef Stew Lunch" (2,200 yen).

Served on a plate resembling a long, narrow boat! Slowly simmered beef stew with soft, runny eggs. A perfect combination.

This beef stew has just the right balance of sweetness and sourness, and pairs perfectly with soft, runny eggs!

The chunks of meat inside are so tender that they just melt away in your mouth.

The rice used is multigrain rice, which gives it a crunchy texture that adds a nice accent to the dish.

And finally, the "daily dessert and drink."

You can choose from seven types of drinks. The dessert for this day was a mini shortcake.

The fluffy sponge cake was topped with lightly sweetened fresh cream and strawberries, crunchy granola, kiwi, grapefruit, and more. It was a luxurious treat.
