Good news for beer lovers! A hotly anticipated craft beer bar has opened at JR Hakata Station.

The trendy beer bar that's garnering a lot of attention: "Craft Beer Club CONTINUE?" (Hakataeki Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City)

The craft beer bar "Craft Beer Club CONTINUE?" will have its grand opening on Friday, July 19, 2024. It is located in "Mining" at JR Hakata Station.

This taproom (beer bar) is run by Saga craft beer brewery "GAME BREW" and has a stylish interior with glittering neon lights. It's a stand-up bar, so you can just drop in and enjoy it.

The atmosphere is totally night! Even those who can't go out at night can enjoy the bar atmosphere from the daytime.

Just one sip is OK! It's like a beer gas station! You can pour yourself the amount you want and enjoy it.

CONTINUE? offers about 15 kinds of craft beer at all times. Each of the 15 beer taps in the bar serves a different beer, so you can pour yourself just the amount you like. You can even enjoy just one sip!

By the way, this style is apparently the first of its kind in Kyushu.

First, you receive a card and an empty cup and choose a beer. When you tap the screen, an explanation will appear, so you can take your time choosing your favorite beer.

The cups are washable so there's no mixing of flavours when you drink a second cup.

If you rinse the cup lightly as shown in the picture before pouring your first cup, water droplets will form inside the cup, allowing you to pour more smoothly!

Once you've decided which beer you want to drink, insert the card and you're ready to go. Pour the beer into the cup.

At the end, you pay for only the amount you drink in 1 ounce (about 30 ml) increments, just like at a beer gas station. There are no cover charges or appetizers.

It's also perfect for comparing small amounts of different types of beer!

Prices vary depending on the type, but start from 90 yen per ounce.

I had "KISS ME MORE". It is a fruit beer that perfectly matches the refreshing sweetness of mandarin oranges and dekopon with the aroma of ginger. It was fruity yet spicy!

There is also a wide selection of delicious gourmet food that goes well with beer! Take-out is also available.

Enjoy the fluffy and sweet "French Fries" (500 yen) with a choice of dipping sauce.

I chose the mustard sauce, which was delicious with a perfect balance of spicy, sour and sweet!

The "Lasagna" (800 yen) is a hearty and authentic dish with chewy pasta and rich sauce. It was a very satisfying dish.

The "Tacos" (400 yen) are rolled up and eaten in a big way. All the menu items are reasonably priced, so why not order a variety of things to go with your beer?
