This time, we will introduce you to a menu that you won't want to miss, created through a collaboration between two popular restaurants in Kitakyushu.

"Giraffe Monochrome" is a popular dining restaurant perfect for anniversaries and dates (Uomachi, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)

The collaborative event is being held at Giraffe Monochrome, a dining restaurant located in Uomachi Gintengai, a five-minute walk from JR Kokura Station.

There are also private rooms and a bar counter with a sophisticated atmosphere (charge: 300 yen per person for 2 hours).

A limited edition menu in collaboration with the popular fruit parlour "Fruit Factory Mooon" will be available until September 30th!

Giraffe Monochrome has many popular menu items such as pancakes and "Oven-baked Volcano" (pasta), but for a limited time from July 13th to September 30th, 2024, they will be collaborating with the popular Kitakyushu fruit parlor "Fruit Factory Mooon" to create a menu. *The products in the collaboration fair will only be offered at Giraffe Monochrome. They will not be sold at any Mooon stores.

The menu, supervised by "Mooon," includes 11 items (including 6 drinks), ranging from popular sweets to must-try dishes. All of them use plenty of fruit, so they're not only delicious, but also seem to be good for your beauty!

Tropical Greek Yogurt Bowl

First up is the "Tropical Greek Yogurt Bowl" (1,628 yen), which allows you to enjoy the currently popular Greek yogurt.

It was served with honeycomb as well, and I was excited from the moment it was brought to me!

It's packed with six kinds of fruit: pineapple, kiwi, dragon fruit, blueberries, grapefruit, and grapes! Enjoy it with the homemade granola underneath.

The combination of chewy strained yogurt and fresh fruit is irresistible.

It also comes with honey on the side, so feel free to add as much honey as you like.

Vitamin Greek Yogurt Bowl

The "Vitamin Greek Yogurt Bowl" (1,738 yen) is a dish that allows you to enjoy Greek yogurt in a salad-like way.

On top of the baby leaves is strained yogurt, strawberries, prosciutto, quinoa, kiwi, tomato, purple cabbage slaw, grapefruit, avocado, black olives, and more, making it a great way to eat a wide variety of ingredients in one go.

This also comes with honeycomb on the side, so enjoy it with olive oil to your liking.

Strawberry and fig mascarpone pizza with honey

My personal favorite is the "Strawberry and fig Mascarpone Pizza with Honey" (2,178 yen).

This dish is made by spreading gorgonzola sauce on pizza dough and topping it with strawberries, fig, and mascarpone cheese before baking.

It is served with the honey that is served with it.

When you lift the chewy pizza dough, the honey melts along with fig and strawberries, and when you put it in your mouth, the elegant sweetness spreads throughout your mouth.

The mellow flavor of the mascarpone cheese and the sweetness of the fruit were a perfect match.

fig and bacon crouton salad

The "fig and Bacon Crouton Salad" (1,562 yen) is a salad that combines ripe fig, baby leaves, fresh mozzarella cheese, bacon, and bacon-flavored croutons. It is served with a homemade vinaigrette dressing.

This was an irresistible dish, with its homemade dressing that brought out the flavor of the various ingredients and the savory taste of the bacon.

White peach and mozzarella with gorgonzola sauce

"White Peach and Mozzarella with Gorgonzola Sauce" (1,452 yen) is a dish made with slices of seasonal peaches and grapes, sprinkled with fresh mozzarella and blue cheese.

The juiciness of the peach was highlighted by its elegant flavor, and the texture of the walnuts added to the dish, allowing you to enjoy the true essence of the season.

Salty Fruit Sour

The "Salty Fruit Sour" (880 yen) contains vegetables and fruits and comes in six flavors: lemon, kiwi, orange, pink grapefruit, tomato, and cucumber. It can also be made non-alcoholic.

All of these sours have salt rimmed around the glass, making them perfect for summer. They can be enjoyed while eating vegetables and fruit, and the fizzing sensation is irresistible.
