The blissful thick-sliced bean paste toast is a must-try! A cafe where you can enjoy breakfast from 9am (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)
Hello. I'm Masaki, a writer who loves hidden gourmet spots.
This time, we will introduce you to some popular cafes known for their delicious cafe lattes and thick-sliced toast.
Open from 9am! Popular cafe in the Shirokane area "Good up Coffee" (Takasago, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)
"Good up Coffee" is located on the corner of Takasago 1-chome Minami intersection in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka city.
This is a cafe where you can enjoy home-roasted specialty coffee and sweets.
Look for the logo on the window.
The interior of the store is a stylish space with a white motif.
It is a small restaurant with a counter and two tables that seat two people.
Next to the entrance, original merchandise from the shop, such as coffee packs, artist stickers, and T-shirts, are on sale.
Be sure to check it out before you leave or while you're waiting.
Enjoy our signature dish, homemade red bean paste toast, for breakfast!
The restaurant is open from 9am and serves its morning menu until 11am, so customers keep coming in from early on.
During this time, several types of toast and drinks are served, and coffee beans and other goods are also available for purchase. Drinks, cheesecake, and pound cake are available for takeout.
From the morning menu, I ordered the "Homemade Anko Toast" (690 yen), "CAFE LATTE" (iced or hot, 540 yen each), and the limited-edition "Blueberry & Blackcurrant Water" (560 yen).
*The morning menu is available at the same price after 11am.
The shop's most recommended item is the "Homemade Anko Toast," which is about 5cm high and thick. The bread used is from the famous bakery "Pan Stock." It looks very cute.
Use a knife and fork to cut into bite-sized pieces.
The toast is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The sweet wheat flavor and the moderate sweetness of the bean paste are excellent. Delicious.
Both drinks are recommended, but I would especially recommend "CAFE LATTE."
It's a wonderful cup of coffee with a rich flavor that allows you to enjoy the aroma and sweetness of the coffee.
"Blueberry & Blackcurrant Water" is perfect for this hot weather with its sourness of blueberries and refreshing sweetness. You can also change it to soda for an additional 50 yen.
This offer will end as soon as the syrup runs out, so if you're interested, be sure to hurry!
After 11am, the regular menu will be added to the morning menu.
At this time, seasonal limited items such as "American Cherry Tart" (600 yen), "Lavender Rare Cheesecake" (600 yen), and "Elderflower Herbal Tea" (600 yen) were also available. Please check Instagram for the seasonal limited menu.
*The American Cherry Tart is no longer on sale.
Thank you for the meal. It was delicious.
If you like cafes, I highly recommend "Good up Coffee." (Text by Masaki)
