[5-minute walk from Hakata Station] Treat yourself! Teppanyaki steak lunch at a luxurious hotel (Fukuoka City)

This time, we will introduce a teppanyaki restaurant located in the luxury hotel "With the Style Fukuoka" in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. We enjoyed the popular steak lunch in this luxurious space.
Teppanyaki restaurant "Steakhouse Medium Rare" in the luxury hotel "WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA" (Hakata Station South, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
"Steakhouse Medium Rare" is a stylish teppanyaki restaurant facing the courtyard of "With the Style Fukuoka". "With the Style Fukuoka" will be closed from June 2024 for major renovations (scheduled to end early September), but "Steakhouse Medium Rare" will remain open as usual.
From JR Hakata Station, exit the Chikushi Exit and head towards Takeshita for about 5 minutes. You will then walk along an approach lined with lush tropical plants to the restaurant.
There is a lot of greenery beyond the approach, and it feels like a resort, which is hard to believe in the center of Hakata. You can spend some relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so it seems like a good place to come and relieve your daily fatigue!
There is a large cow monument at the entrance to the shop, and what's unique about it is that only its rear end sticks out from the wall!

While feeling the sunlight streaming in through the large windows, you can savor locally produced ingredients such as carefully selected Japanese Black beef and vegetables sourced from all over Kyushu.
The most popular course! Enjoy the luxurious "Style Lunch" course
This time, we had the most popular lunch, the "Style Lunch" (3,800 yen per person). *10% service charge not included.
The set includes salad, three kinds of seasonal grilled vegetables, seared Kuroge Wagyu beef sushi, 50g of beef tongue steak, 40g of Kuroge Wagyu beef thigh meat (can be changed to 40g of Kyushu Kuroge Wagyu beef fillet for an additional 2,000 yen), garlic rice or freshly steamed white rice, and miso soup.
This time, I sat at the counter seat in front of the iron plate, so I was able to enjoy the live performance of the grilling right in front of me. I enjoyed the sound and aroma of the grilling with all my senses.
Let's start with the salad. It's full of fresh vegetables! The dressing is made with shio-koji and onions, and is packed with sweetness and flavor. It's topped with onion chips, so you can enjoy the texture.
Next up is the "Seared Japanese Black Beef Sushi." The beef is quickly seared on a hot plate, placed on top of the rice, and then seared further over a burner.
The delicious aroma is wafting through the air, making me hungry...!
The perfect amount of fat and the texture that melts in your mouth makes it disappear the moment you eat it. The delicious taste of the meat spreads throughout your mouth, making you feel very happy.
Next up was the "Three kinds of seasonal grilled vegetables." On this day, the vegetables were red eggplant from Kumamoto, carrots from Nagasaki, and onions from Saga. When eaten with salt, the natural sweetness of the vegetables was further enhanced, making them very delicious...!
We recommend eating the thick-sliced [Beef Tongue Steak] simply with salt, lemon, or the homemade green onion salt sauce.
It has the chewy texture that is characteristic of beef tongue, but is also very soft. The juicy flavor fills your mouth. It is cut into small pieces, so you can enjoy it with a variety of condiments.
The main dish is "Japanese Black Beef Thigh Meat" (or "Kyushu Japanese Black Beef Fillet" for an additional 2,000 yen). The meat, which is sourced from within Kyushu, changes place of origin depending on the day, and on this day it was from Kagoshima Prefecture. I liked it best with garlic chips!
For the final course, you can choose between hot-plate garlic rice or freshly steamed white rice. This time, I chose garlic rice. Miso soup is also served.
It's packed with shiso leaves and has a rich aroma! It's a simple dish made by adding a little soy sauce and searing it on a hot plate, but it still has a deep umami flavor.
We were able to enjoy a luxurious and satisfying lunch, right down to the final rice! I also liked how the food was served according to the speed at which we ate.
In addition to the "Style Lunch" introduced this time, there are various other menus such as the "Hamburger & Tongue Steak Lunch" (2,800 yen), the "Weekday Only 100% Wagyu Cheeseburger" (1,600 yen) that is available for a limited time until the end of August, and a la carte. *10% service charge is not included.
