You're missing out if you don't know about this bakery! A highly popular bakery with an attractive selection of breads (Kurume City)

Hello. I am Yorimichi, the owner of the blog "Yorimichi's Fukuoka Introduction," which introduces delicious restaurants in Fukuoka.

Have you heard of Fresh Bakery Primo, located in the residential area of Miyanojin, a little way from the downtown area of Kurume?

I've introduced many fascinating bakeries so far, but this shop ranks pretty highly for me!

Fresh Bakery Primo (Kurume City): A wide selection of breads you'll definitely want to return to!

Opened in August 2020, Fresh Bakery Primo is renowned for its freshly baked bread made with dough made from 100% domestic wheat and without any food additives.

Apparently the owner is self-taught in bread making.

There are many parking spaces at the back as you enter, but the only ones contracted are numbers 9, 21, and 22.

It takes about 7 minutes on foot from Nishitetsu Miyanojin Station.

The shop is small, but has a lineup of 30 to 35 different items.

Plus, new products come out every Wednesday.

To ensure you can enjoy the best possible taste, we will notify you when the food is ready.

My personal recommendation is the "Smooth Bean Paste Salt Butter Roll," which I recommend eating fresh out of the oven.

When I visited previously, some items were sold out by around 4pm, so it might be better to go by around 3pm.

It seems you can also reserve items via DM on Instagram.

I always pay close attention to these hand-drawn posters. They have a certain charm to them.

And the best thing about this shop is the "freshly baked bread shelf."

Freshly baked bread is lined up on the baking tray like this, so if you see it here, why not make it a priority to buy it?

Apparently, regulars head here first.

By the way, children are also welcome to visit this restaurant.

Apparently they held a "Children's Store Manager" event during the summer holidays in 2022, so maybe they'll revive this event again?

There is also a "sales ranking" posted, so be sure to check it out if you're not sure what to buy.

Let's try it!

I'd like to introduce some of the bread I bought that day.

Spinning Frank

First up is the type of savory bread I would definitely buy if I found it at a bakery: "Kurukuru Frank" (190 yen).

Retro style, served on a skewer.

The bread dough was fluffier than I expected.

The nostalgic taste reminds me of the days when I ate it as a child, and it warms the heart.

Croissant

Oh, please take a look at their croissants (190 yen).

Although it's a standard menu item, the crispness of the outside is different from any other bakery. It's so crispy that it pops open.

The aroma of butter spreads softly and the flavor that melts in your mouth is irresistible.

The layers of dough are carefully layered, making it a work of art that embodies the artisan's skill. It tastes even better when it's freshly baked!

Perilla ham roll

Speaking of filling bread, the "Shiso Ham Roll" (220 yen) is a must-try. You might not be able to tell from the appearance, but

It's got a whole piece of ham and shiso leaf inside.

The flavor is also well-defined, making this a highly satisfying dish.

Strained bean paste salted butter roll

And my top recommendation is the "Smooth Bean Paste Salt Butter Roll" (190 yen).

This is apparently the most popular bread in the store, so you definitely have to try it!

The combination of salt and bean paste is a divine golden ratio.

I was so impressed the first time I tried it that I ordered it again the following week.

This simple and understated flavor has an addictive, exquisite saltiness and sweetness.

Once you try it, you'll understand why you'll be hooked!

Please come and visit us on your next day off! (Text by Yorimitsu)
