Exquisite soy sauce ramen that you'll want to drink up the soup! A Chinese restaurant popular with locals (Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love ramen.

This time, we will introduce some delicious ramen that can be enjoyed at a Chinese restaurant in Mikamori, Yahata-ku, Kitakyushu City.

A homely atmosphere! A popular Chinese restaurant loved by locals, "Ichiryu Hanten" (Mikamori, Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City)

Ichiryuu Hanten is located about a 3-minute walk from Mikamori Station on the Chikuho Electric Railroad.

This is a long-established Chinese restaurant that is well-known for its reasonable prices and casual dining.

It has been loved by locals since it opened in 1976.

Although the ramen is what I'm after, the shop's other signature dish is the "Pork Bun" (I'll introduce it later). It's steamed piping hot in a steamer in front of the shop.

In addition to counter seats,

There is a table seating for two.

It's not a particularly large store, but the staff are all very child-friendly, so we were able to enjoy it comfortably.

"Soy Sauce Ramen" with a delicious soup made with great care

The first thing I would like to introduce is the signature dish, "Soy Sauce Ramen" (700 yen).

A simple, old-fashioned soy sauce ramen made with an original blend of soy sauce, containing roasted pork slices, bamboo shoots, boiled egg, and spring onions.

The chicken bone soy sauce soup and straight thin noodles are the classic of the classics. You can't go wrong with the taste.

When you take a sip of the soup, you'll notice a gentle, slightly sweet flavor.

It's not too salty, but has a deep flavor!

According to the owner, he makes it sweet like the ones people in Kyushu are accustomed to so that it will suit the local palate, and adds black pepper to make up for any punch it lacks.

The char siu has just the right amount of fat and a subtle sweetness.

It was delicious in every way! The kids loved it too.

This is "Champon" (750 yen).

This is a drink that I personally recommend.

It's topped with plenty of stir-fried vegetables, meat, and seafood, making it very filling.

The savory flavor of the stir-fried ingredients blends into the soup, further enhancing the already deep flavor of the soup.

The noodles were not champon noodles, but straight Chinese noodles.

With prices rising so much these days, it's hard to believe that you can get both "Shoyu Ramen" and "Champon" for this price!

Before I knew it, I had finished the soup and it still wasn't enough even if I drank it all. It was really delicious!

Also pay attention to the handmade pork buns, which are made with a particular focus on the texture of the dough.

The "pork bun" (250 yen each) was mentioned briefly in the first half of the article.

They're all handmade and as big as a child's face! They're also very popular as takeout.

When you cut open the thick, chewy dough, you'll find a generous amount of meat filling inside...♡

The overflowing meat juice is irresistible.

It was packed with ingredients and was very filling! It was a little sweet and addictive, and was a big hit with the kids.

I love Chinese food, including ramen, champon, and pork buns, so I was incredibly happy!

Please try this delicious treat. (Text by Yuri-chan)
