Fluffy and delicious shaved ice with plenty of syrup! A popular cafe with private rooms within walking distance of Hakata Station (Fukuoka City)

Hello. This is Chihi Log, a casual website that provides information about Fukuoka, with a focus on gourmet food.

This time, we will introduce a cafe with all private rooms, located about a 10-minute walk from JR Hakata Station.

Choose from 11 rooms! Cafe "black whitee" with all private rooms (Hakata Station, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

"Black Whitee" is located in Hakataekimae 4-chome, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. It is a cafe that has been a hot topic since it opened in August 2023.

Once inside the store, first go to the front desk and choose your favorite room from the 11 rooms numbered 0 to 10 (reservations can be made online). Rooms without chess pieces are vacant.

Each room has a different atmosphere and the number of people that can stay there, so it's nice to be able to choose one that suits your mood and the occasion! Each room can only be used for up to one hour, and there is a room charge of 500 to 700 yen per room.

Let me introduce some of the rooms.

Let's start with numbers 5 and 10, whose interiors are unknown as they are marked as "?" (secret) on the front desk.

No. 5, "Secret Black" (maximum 2 people, room charge 700 yen) is a space surrounded by flowers. As the name suggests, the color black is the predominant color, creating a chic and stylish atmosphere.

No. 10, "secret white" (maximum capacity for two people, room charge 700 yen) was a gorgeous space filled with blooming hydrangeas.

This room is number 1, "gray" (maximum 6 people, room charge 500 yen). There is a sofa so you can relax in the space. The interior is also stylish.

No. 4, "Tiffany Blue" (maximum capacity for two people, room charge 500 yen) is a lovely space with refreshing colors.

In addition, there are also No. 0 "secret mirror", No. 2 "pink", No. 3 "dark green", No. 6 "bookshelf", No. 7 "light blue sofa", No. 8 "blue gray", and No. 9 "black" (room charge is 500 yen each). The number of people allowed varies, so please check when making a reservation or at the store.

Every room is photogenic♪ In addition, they come equipped with tablets so you can enjoy your cafe time while listening to music or watching videos.

Summer only! Exquisite fluffy shaved ice made with carefully selected syrup

Shaved ice is a symbol of summer!

At "black whitee," two types of shaved ice using carefully selected syrups are available for a limited time only this summer (scheduled to be available until the end of September 2024). Both are fluffy and have a texture similar to snow.

strawberry

"Strawberry" shaved ice (1,550 yen) drizzled with homemade strawberry syrup.

It comes with extra syrup, so you can enjoy the strawberry flavor to your heart's content.

The shaved ice has berries inside and is topped with soft, melting cream and jelly.

The flaky pie on the side was a nice touch, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors and textures.

Honey Lemon

"Honey Lemon" (1,350 yen) is made with plenty of honey and domestic lemons. This shaved ice has a gentle sweetness.

This also comes with cream, jelly, and pie.

Both shaved ice orders were delicious! I also liked that they came with hot tea.

Speaking of "black whitee," it is also well-known for its high-quality, authentic sweets.

Territory

"Terrine" (550 yen each) comes in two varieties: matcha and chocolate. *The photo shows the matcha variety.

Depending on the season, fruit may be placed on top, and on the day I visited, it had strawberries on top.

It melts in your mouth like you're eating raw chocolate. It's an amazing taste.

Mini Churros

Bite-sized "Mini Churros" (700 yen). The round shape is so cute!

Berry Shortcake

A different shortcake is available each month. In June it's "Berry Short Cake" (750 yen).

The fluffy chocolate sponge and rich chocolate cream go perfectly together. The accompanying chocolate covered strawberries were also excellent.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of shortcakes will be available in July!

A spectacular drinks menu too!

AID DRINK

The fruity "AID DRINK" (650 yen each) comes in two flavors: "Peach Pink Grapefruit" and "Kiwi Muscat."

The refreshing taste is perfect for summer.

GELATO DRINKS

The limited-time "GELATO DRINK" (700 yen each) (scheduled until the end of September 2024) comes in two flavors: "Strawberry" and "Mango." *The photo shows the mango.

The drink is filled with plenty of fruit pulp and topped with a generous amount of homemade gelato made with fresh fruit!

The fruit flavor was rich and delicious.

BRULEE LATTE

"BRULEE LATTE" (750 yen each) comes in four flavors: "Cafe Latte," "Matcha," "Hojicha," and "Strawberry Milk."

This time I ordered "Strawberry Milk".

It is filled with plenty of homemade strawberry sauce, so you can fully enjoy the strawberry flavor. It goes great with milk, too.

The brulee cream is also delicious! After the crispy texture, you can enjoy a smooth and gentle flavor.
