A new location of this popular Fukuoka cafe has just opened, so we went to check it out ♡

A new branch of the popular cafe! "FUK COFFEE (R) BASE" (Nagazumi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City) has a cool and grown-up atmosphere.

This time we would like to introduce "FUK COFFEE (R) BASE," which opened on June 7, 2024 in Nagazumi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

This is the ninth store in the "FUK COFFEE (R)" chain, which has four stores in Fukuoka city, two in Osaka, and one each in Hiroshima and Nagasaki!

The interior of the store is decorated with tree branches and dried flowers, making it very colorful!

The walls are made of exposed concrete, and the seats by the walls are tiled, creating a cool, grown-up interior. Just being here lifts your spirits!

Although it may be a little hot now, there is also terrace seating. The large tables can accommodate 4-5 people. Pets are also welcome.

In fact, this store is not just a cafe, but also serves as the "FUK COFFEE (R) central kitchen."

Up until now, some sweets were made at each store, but now FUK COFFEE (R) BASE produces all fresh and baked goods for all stores in Fukuoka City, as well as baked goods for stores outside the prefecture.

It was named "BASE" because it will serve as a base.

There is a large window in the store, so if you're lucky, you can see the work being done.

There are many pieces of equipment for making sweets, including large refrigerators and ovens.

This time, I ordered the very popular "Pudding" (550 yen) with ice cream topping (+120 yen), so I watched the process through the window.

Pudding removed from the mold and served on a plate, overflowing caramel sauce, perfectly round ice cream...

Just watching it being made makes me happy ♡ I was surprised at how firm the pudding was, even when topped with ice cream, it didn't fall apart.

By the way, the 15th of every month is "Pudding Day" on which you can get a pudding for just 500 yen (usually 550 yen) and ice cream topping for 600 yen (usually 670 yen).

Hot drinks are recommended even in summer! Enjoy beautiful art with this "latte"

They have a wide variety of drinks, but my recommendation is the hot latte, even in the summer! As with other FUK COFFEE (R) stores, you can enjoy beautiful latte art.

Depending on the barista on the day and how busy the shop is, you may be able to request latte art!

This time, I ordered the "Cafe Latte" (630 yen) and the "Matcha Latte" (730 yen) from the eight standard latte menu items. It's a feast for the eyes when you line them up with the sweets.

This classic pudding is made using lots of eggs and is firm, making it extremely rich!

The caramel sauce has a rich flavor thanks to the espresso added to it. It's a taste you won't find anywhere else!

For drinks, we also recommend the espresso menu!

They have "Espresso Tonic," "Espresso Ginger," and "Espresso Coke" (600 yen each), which are espresso mixed with tonic water, ginger ale, and cola. The refreshing flavors are perfect for the coming season.

In addition to the standard sweets such as "Gâteau au Chocolat", "Cheesecake" (600 yen each) and "Cream Puff" (330 yen), they also plan to produce more seasonal products in the future. I'm looking forward to it ♡

July limited menu includes the popular dessert "Greek Yogurt"!

The July limited menu features two types of yogurt!

The first one is the "Greek Yogurt Parfait" (800 yen). It is available in limited quantities.

The currently very popular Greek yogurt with lots of fruit and granola. The kiwi on the side of the cup is very cute ♡ You can also reserve it by phone or DM on Instagram.

The second is the "Mango Lassi Shake" (780 yen).

The sauce is made with mango pulp, making it a luxurious drink with a refreshing white and yellow appearance.
