This collaboration has been realized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of both the hugely popular pasta restaurant "Rarukii" in Arato, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, and the spicy cod Spicy Fish Eggs restaurant "Yamaya"!
For one year from May 1, 2024, you can enjoy a collaborative pasta supervised by Ralkii at Mentai BASE Mark Is Fukuoka Momochi Branch, a mentaiko pasta specialty store directly managed by Yamaya.
A wide variety of mentaiko pasta dishes are available at "Mentai BASE Mark Is Fukuoka Momochi Branch" (Jigyohama, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
"Mentai BASE Mark Is Fukuoka Momochi Store" is located on the 3rd floor of "MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi."
This restaurant is run by Spicy Fish Eggs restaurant "Yamaya" with the idea of "pursuing ways to enjoy Spicy Fish Eggs other than with rice." In addition to the standard, they offer a wide variety of "mentai pasta."
The spacious interior is decorated in natural colors and has a cozy atmosphere. In addition to two-seater tables,

Tasting two types of collaborative pasta created under the supervision of "Rarukii"
For this collaboration, four original types of pasta that allow you to enjoy Yamaya's Spicy Fish Eggs were developed under the supervision of Ralkii with the aim of "allowing more customers to enjoy the delicious cuisine of Kyushu."
The pasta noodles are made by Italian pasta maker La Molisana, which was carefully selected by Ralki. The sauce is made with mentaiko, kelp paste from Spicy Fish Eggs, and yuzu juice.
The offer will run from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 (Wednesday), with the menu lineup changing every three months, and two varieties to enjoy each time.
From May to July and November to January, the menu includes "Mentaiko and Hijiki Japanese-style Pasta" (from 1,480 yen) and "Mentaiko and Mushroom Carbonara with White Miso Flavor" (from 1,780 yen).
From August to October and February to April, you can enjoy "Mentaiko, squid and green shiso peperoncino with yuzu flavor" (from 1,780 yen) and "Salmon, Enoki mushroom and mentaiko cream pasta with white miso flavor" (from 1,780 yen). *Product prices vary depending on the day of the week.
This is "Mentaiko Hijiki Japanese-style Pasta" with crunchy carrots and hijiki as the main ingredients.
The sweetness of the carrots and the savory and salty flavor of Spicy Fish Eggs are in perfect balance, making it very delicious!
The flavor of each ingredient, including the carefully selected noodles, comes through. It's light and tasty, so you could eat as much as you want.
Next is "Mentaiko and Mushroom Carbonara with White Miso Flavor."
The balance between the sweetness of the white miso and the saltiness of Spicy Fish Eggs is exquisite. You won't be able to stop eating the rich and mellow sauce! It's very satisfying.
The pasta is served with Laruki's original chili oil, "L'Altab."
Even just a little topping can change the flavor completely, so try adding it halfway through!
