I'm Sumire, a writer who regularly checks out convenience store sweets.
On April 30, 2024, collaboration products between Lawson and GODIVA were released!
This time, we will introduce three collaborative sweets.
1: Enjoy different textures! "Uchi Café x GODIVA Chocolate Roll Cake - Feuilletine (crispy texture) included"
First up is the "Uchi Café x GODIVA Chocolate Roll Cake - Feuilletine (crispy)" (430 yen), a collaboration with Lawson's extremely popular roll cake.

When you open the gorgeous gold and black packaging, you'll find a roll cake in a luxurious gold case!
The chocolate plate decorated with the "Uchi Café x GODIVA" logo creates an even more luxurious atmosphere.

When I cut it open, I found a fluffy chocolate cream filled with rich ganache and crispy feuilletine.

The chocolate cream is gently sweet and smooth to the touch, elegantly complementing the ganache, which is packed with the aroma and flavor of cacao.
The feuilletine, made from finely crushed thin crepes, had a crispy texture that was a great accent to the fluffy dough and cream!
2: Rich chocolate sauce! "Uchi Café x GODIVA Chocolate Canelé"
Next up is the "Uchi Café x GODIVA Chocolate Canelé" (343 yen). This one also has a luxurious package that is typical of GODIVA and catches your eye.

The surface is coated in chocolate, making it a sweet treat that looks all about chocolate, and will get you excited even before you eat it!

The chewy canelé dough is filled with plenty of French chocolate and Belgian chocolate sauce.
The rich aroma and flavor of cocoa fills your mouth, and although they are small in size, one is enough to leave you feeling satisfied.

Of all the sweets introduced this time, this was the least sweet and had a more mature flavor. It would go well with wine or brandy.
