We would like to introduce you to the "Omurice Cafe" that has opened in Noma, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

The omelet rice lunch is very popular! A small cafe with four seats, "Anhelo" (Noma, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City)

Anhelo opened on March 3, 2024. It is a cafe where you can enjoy omelet rice lunches, coffee, and sweets.

It is about an 8-minute walk from Nishitetsu Takamiya Station, along Oike Street, near the Noma 3-chome intersection. There is no parking lot, but there are paid parking lots nearby, so it is easy to get there by car.

He thought, "It would be nice to offer a dish that makes the most of the sauce..." and decided to offer omelet rice with four different sauces to choose from.

By the way, the store name "Anhelo" means "longing" in Spanish.

There are only four seats at the counter inside the shop, but you can reserve a seat in advance.

As it is run by a single person, it is recommended that you come with plenty of time to relax. Take-out is also very welcome.

4 types of omelet rice with plenty of homemade sauce

Omelette rice lunch available from 11:00 to 15:00.

You can choose from four types of sauce: "Tomato Omelette Rice" (1,300 yen), "Demi Demi Omelette Rice" (1,300 yen), "Shrimp Cream Omelette Rice" (1,300 yen), and "Squid and Mentaiko Omelette Rice" (1,400 yen).

The gorgeous appearance of the eggs, like the skirt of a dress, is also very cute.

Under the soft-boiled egg in each omurice is Japanese-style chicken rice seasoned with carefully selected salt and chicken bones from Saga Prefecture. It is filled with juicy chicken and is a simple dish that brings out the flavor of the sauce and egg even more.

All lunches come with grilled vegetables (on top of the omelet rice sauce) and onion soup.

Demi Demi Omelette Rice

"Demi Demi Omelette Rice" is made by slowly frying mushrooms in butter and oil, adding special salt, and topping it with a mild-tasting demi-glace sauce that brings out the flavor and broth of the mushrooms.

It has a deep, rich flavor, and the fresh cream enhances the taste even more.

The accompanying grilled vegetables were a nice accent.

Shrimp cream omelet rice

"Shrimp Cream Omelette Rice" contains five plump shrimp. The cream sauce has cheese as a secret ingredient, making it rich and creamy!

The shrimp are fried with plenty of garlic, giving them a rich flavor. They also go perfectly with the sauce, making for an addictive taste.

Squid and cod roe omelet rice

"Squid and Mentaiko Omelette Rice" is a cream sauce with plenty of Spicy Fish Eggs. It is full of sliced squid and is very satisfying to eat.

It had a mellow, Japanese flavor.

Tomato Omelet Rice

The most popular dish is the "Tomato Omelette Rice" with tomato sauce.

The sweetness of the onions is brought out by slowly frying them and simmering them with tomatoes. The dish is seasoned simply with salt, but is full of richness and flavor. It also contains chicken simmered in the sauce.

Cafe time is from 10:30 to 16:00. You can also just come for drinks and sweets. For lunch customers, all drinks are 250 yen, which is also attractive.

The homemade "Rich and Smooth Pudding" (250 yen) is very smooth and melts in your mouth. The caramel sauce is a little on the thick side, but children can choose whether or not to pour it on. I'm happy with this kind of thoughtfulness.

I paired it with "Vienna Coffee" (300 yen) with plenty of fresh cream. If you melt the cream, it has a mild taste and goes perfectly with the pudding. They also have "Iced Coffee" (250 yen).

The Hokkaido Mellow Vanilla ice cream (250 yen) is popular with both children and adults and can be topped with a choice of strawberry sauce with fruit pulp or salted caramel sauce. You can enjoy the richness of the milk that is just as good as the toppings.
