Hello. I'm Yuri-chan, and I've dedicated more than half my life to supporting my idols.

This time, we will introduce a cake shop that is a must-see for "pareto fans" and "girls who love their favorite idols."

Reservations only! A one-of-a-kind custom cake specialty store, "kogu" (Ropponmatsu, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)

"Kogu" is a takeaway whole cake shop located a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Ropponmatsu Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line.

It's located up the stairs on the second floor (room 201) of this retro apartment building.

Look for the "Okashi" sign with a little bird on it.

Named after the owner's pet dog, this is a reservation-only, made-to-order "flower x whole cake" shop.

The same room also houses the sweets shop "tete" (please contact us in advance via Instagram DM to reserve, closed on Mondays and Sundays, and on other irregular days), which has a stylish display inside... ♡

The muted colors are so cute! A cake made with a luxurious amount of flowers♡

The defining feature of "kogu"'s whole cakes is their original designs using flowers. The shop is run by a married couple, with the owner in charge of the cake base and his wife in charge of the flower decorations.

To order, you must make a reservation via DM on the official Instagram account. Pick-up times are 12:30, 13:00, 16:30, and 17:00, and reservations can be made up to one month in advance.

This time I ordered the "favorite color orange." The size is 9cm (3,500 yen), the base is white or pale orange, and the decoration is orange (orange, white, yellow) flowers.

And on the long-awaited day of receipt, this was presented before me.

Its distinctive pale coloring and gorgeous appearance will have you enchanted. It's so cute from every angle that it's almost a shame to eat it.

Fresh flowers, dried flowers, preserved flowers, and edible flowers are used. *Flowers other than edible flowers cannot be eaten.

The overall calm, muted colors are not too bold and will capture the hearts of mature women.

You can order after discussing your favorite design and color, so it's also recommended for "birthday parties without the person present," which have become a staple of fan activities. Of course, it's also great for celebrating anniversaries and birthdays of friends and family!

Another nice thing about the store is that you can take photos of your purchase before taking it home.

The cake was made of vanilla sponge with seasonal fruits, fresh cream, and custard cream.

I took it home and cut it into pieces with excitement...

The moist and fluffy sponge cake is filled with lots of my favorite strawberries! I enjoyed the smooth and light texture.

The sweetness was not too strong, and the three of us, including my children, ate it all up! It was so delicious!
