This time, we will introduce you to a popular shop where you can enjoy the currently in-season combination of strawberries and carefully selected chocolate!

A new Osaka-originated shop with long lines has opened! "FUKUOKA CHOCO BERRY" is a shop with a "fruit x chocolate" theme (Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

"FUKUOKA CHOCO BERRY" is located on the second basement floor of "Fukuoka Mitsukoshi" in Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka city.

It opened on April 13, 2024, next to the fruit gift specialty store "hanafru" as a sister brand of "hanafru."

The flagship store is the "NORTH SHORE Kitahama" in Osaka Prefecture, and the Fukuoka store is the first store outside the prefecture.

This shop, with a theme of "fruit x chocolate," was created with the desire to "make young people enjoy fruit more."

You can enjoy sweets and drinks that combine seasonal fruits and chocolate.

Currently, from early to mid-May 2024, you can enjoy the popular chocolate-covered strawberries "Chocoberry" at the "NORTH SHORE Kitahama Store."

A luxurious treat with more than one pack of strawberries and carefully selected chocolate: "Chocoberry"

This is the "Chocoberry" (1,300 yen). *Limited to 100 servings per day, sales times will be announced on the store's Instagram by the night before. Numbered tickets will be distributed 30 minutes before sales begin.

It's covered in so much chocolate that you can't even see the strawberry underneath.

We use the finest selected strawberries of the day.

At the Fukuoka store, you can mainly enjoy "Amaou," a brand of strawberry produced in Fukuoka Prefecture.

On this day, we also had "Amaou" strawberries, and the sight of them lined up in the showcase was truly spectacular.

Please choose what you like from the display case and hand it to the staff.

They carefully select the chocolate that goes best with strawberries from about 20 different types.

On this day, I had "Cacao Quarry Blended Milk 40" to go with the "Amaou".

The chocolate used changes depending on the variety of strawberry, so the combinations can only be enjoyed at certain times, which is one of the charms of this treat.

The chocolate is melted in a special machine made in Italy, which is apparently a rare item with only a few in Japan.

I was so excited watching the chocolate flow out of the spout!

You can enjoy the live feeling as the chocolate is poured right in front of you.

The rich sweetness and moderate acidity of Amaou strawberries go perfectly with the sweet, milky, smooth-tasting chocolate.
