This time, we will introduce a noteworthy cafe that has opened in the Yakuin area of Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.
TABULA COFFEE & FLOWER, an oasis cafe born in the heart of the city (Watanabedori, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)
TABULA COFFEE & FLOWER opened on March 20, 2024, located about a 2-minute walk from the north exit of Nishitetsu Yakuin Station.
This is a store specializing in flowers and specialty coffee run by Floriste Module, a florist that specializes in flower coordination primarily for bridal occasions.

"TABULA" comes from the Latin "TABULA RASA (= blank canvas)." In today's information-filled society, the cafe hopes that the time spent at "TABULA COFFEE & FLOWER" will be a soothing moment that will allow customers to clear their minds.
The stylish interior is filled with flowers and ornamental plants! They change with the seasons, so you can enjoy a fresh space whenever you visit.

There is a coffee tree to the right of the entrance. It has fruit on it! It's rare to see this, so I'm happy.

Specialty coffee from Tokyo's popular shop "LIGHT UP COFFEE"
The specialty coffee is made using beans from "LIGHT UP COFFEE," a home-roasted single-origin coffee shop with three locations in Tokyo. This is the only place in Fukuoka where you can drink this coffee. It has become a hot topic among coffee connoisseurs, as it allows you to enjoy the flavor of a popular shop.

There are usually three to four types of beans to choose from, but on this day I tried the recommended "Drip Coffee Ethiopia (HOT)" (600 yen).

It's rare to see it in a flask! You pour it into a cup yourself. This moment is somehow elegant and relaxing.

A light roast with a refreshing taste! The balance of umami and acidity was exquisite and very delicious.
This is "Elderflower Soda" (650 yen).

The soft scent of elderflower matches the flower-filled shop perfectly, making you feel like you're in a flower field. It's not too sweet, but it's refreshing, and goes perfectly with sweets!
Other drinks on offer include "Hand Dripped Yame Tea (HOT)" (600 yen) in two varieties, "Moon" and "Dream," "Cold Brew Yame Tea" (500 yen), and "Yame Matcha Latte (HOT/ICED)" (700 yen).
Food items on the menu include "Bacon and Egg Toast" (750 yen), "Cassata" (550 yen), and "Yame Matcha Affogato" (650 yen).

Inside is a sponge cake soaked in espresso. The deep flavor and juicy texture of the espresso-soaked sponge cake is exquisite! It was delicious with a refined sweetness.

Original goods such as "flower bags" are also popular
Original goods are sold in the space on the right side of the store.
What particularly catches your eye are the "flower bags" (1,200 yen each) lined up on the wall.

The seasonal flowers are sold in water, so you can hang them on a hanger as is. It's convenient because you can give them as gifts without worrying about whether they have a vase or not. You can also wear them over your shoulder by purchasing a string (sold separately).
The ``Flower Bags'' are also designed with the hope that customers will remember their time at the store on their way home or at home.
