Popular breweries will gather at Hakata Station Square! The hugely popular event "Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening 2024" will allow you to enjoy delicious sake.

This hugely popular annual event will be held again this year.

"Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening 2024" will be held at JR Hakata Station Square from March 20th (Wednesday, holiday) to 24th (Sunday)

The Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening brings together breweries that brew delicious sake born from the rich climates of Kyushu and across Japan, allowing visitors to experience the charms of each brewery and their sake in the square in front of JR Hakata Station.

This hugely popular event, which attracts over 20,000 people every year, will be held again in 2024 from March 20th (Wednesday, holiday) to 24th (Sunday)!

In addition to sake, wine and beer are also on offer, with a selection of 21 breweries from Kyushu and 17 from across the country. In addition to popular breweries that alcohol lovers are well-known to, there are also up-and-coming craft sake breweries! The luxurious lineup is sure to excite.

In addition to the brands that each brewery is proud of, you can also enjoy brands that are exclusive to "Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening 2024", Sumiyoshi Sake Sales, and seasonal brands.

How to order alcohol

＜Sake＞
For your first drink, choose an "original sake cup" (700 yen/limited quantity) or a "cup" (100 yen) at each sake brewery's booth and purchase it along with the sake you want to drink. From the second drink onwards, the sake will be poured into the sake cup or cup you first purchased, so you only need to order the sake.

Each cup is purchased with its own cup.
*The amount of alcohol varies depending on the type. Please refrain from reusing cups.

Food and drink booths featuring popular restaurants

Of course, there are plenty of food and drink booths to go with your drinks. Nagahama no Hiroshi, which operates from Nagahama Yatai Street, will be selling "Motsunabe" (600 yen), "Kome Hitotsubu no Chikara" will be selling "Wagyu beef tendon stew" (800 yen) and "Onigiri" (rice balls) (starting from 190 yen), "Kubo Curry" will be selling "Kubo Chiki 65" (5 sticks for 500 yen), and "Pizzeria da GAETANO" will be selling "Italian sausage" (2 sticks for 1,000 yen).

Other dishes on the menu that will keep you coming back for more drinks include "Shirasu Kujira Kushiage Kakuuchi," "Tonkatsu Hamakatsu," "Hakata Tetsunabe Mugen Gyoza," and "Momoyaki Bantori."

By the way, the chaser "water" (200 yen), which is essential for enjoying alcohol, can be purchased at the management office.

Collaboration with "Hanasaka Month" is also attracting attention

The year 2024 will be called "Hanasaka Month," and you won't want to miss the collaborations with various content and events in Fukuoka, such as the Nagahama Yatai Street and the Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival.

■Collaboration with Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival

The cherry blossom branches pruned at Maizuru Park, the venue for the Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival, will be put to good use. Cherry blossoms will appear at the Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening 2024 venue. It looks like you'll be able to enjoy the cherry blossom viewing atmosphere.

At the Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival from March 27th (Wed) to April 7th (Sun), 2024, a sake and food booth in collaboration with Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening will be set up in the Tamon Yagura Area, a paid light-up venue.

■Collaboration with Nagahama Yatai Street (in front of Nagahama Fish Market)

An authentic Nagahama food stall will be set up at the Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening 2024 venue and will be operating on a traveling basis. You can experience the lively atmosphere of the food stall.

Additionally, Nagahama Yatai Street will be a satellite venue for the Kyushu Sake Brewery Opening 2024, where you can enjoy the Hanazake MONTH Limited Edition Sake (Tanaka Rokugo Hanazake Nigorizake) from Wednesday, March 20th (National Holiday) to Sunday, April 7th, 2024.
