[1 minute walk from Dazaifu Station] Fluffy pancakes with plenty of cream! Limited-time sweets from a popular chocolate specialty store
Hello.
My name is Yuri and I love chocolate and stylish cafes.
This time, we will introduce a cafe in Dazaifu City that chocolate lovers must visit.
A must-visit when strolling around Dazaifu! Chocolate specialty shop "&Myuu." (Dazaifu City)
"&Myuu." is located in an extremely accessible location, just a one-minute walk from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.
This shop opened in December 2020 and is well-known for offering authentic chocolate.
The light blue exterior is a landmark.
All of their chocolates are handmade using many organic and Kyushu-produced ingredients.
Upon entering the store, you will be greeted by a large showcase.
The first thing that catches your eye is the more than 20 kinds of "bonbon chocolates"!
"Bonbon chocolat" refers to bite-sized chocolates that may be small, but are gorgeous and sparkling.
There are also popular products that use plenty of chocolate, such as "Chocolate Dora Plain" (400 yen), "Chocolate Dora Chocolate Crunch" (450 yen), and "Chocolate Dora Double Chocolat" (560 yen).
Take-out is also available, so it's a great companion for your food tour of Dazaifu!
There are also many other sweets that would make great souvenirs, such as "Chocolate Pudding" (360 yen), "Basque Cheesecake" (400 yen), and "Fondant Chocolat" (410 yen)♪
Baked goods are also available for sale.
The "Fresh Pie" (400 yen), which is filled with plenty of cream after the order is placed, is also popular.
Of course, you can also just take out any of the items. It's also a good way to treat yourself.
Enjoy the deliciousness of chocolate to your heart's content ♡ Cafe menu exclusively available for eat-in
&Myuu.'s dine-in only cafe menu is also appealing!
The eat-in space has four tables that seat two people.
This is the limited-time menu item "Strawberry and Banana Fresh Chocolate Fondue Pancakes" (1,680 yen), available until around Golden Week.
It came with a choice of drink, so we went for the "Hot Coffee" and "Hot Chocolate" set (plus 100 yen, limited time only).
The fluffy, not-too-sweet chocolate-flavored pancakes are stuffed with plenty of chocolate cream, giving them a truly chocolatey taste.
The balance was perfect and the taste did not disappoint.
We recommend pouring the accompanying chocolate sauce over it and adding more chocolate.
It will have a richer flavor.
It's rich but not too sweet, so you don't have to feel guilty about eating it.
It's sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children!
My daughters absolutely love the combination of strawberries, bananas and chocolate, and were so happy that their mouths were covered in chocolate (lol).
This is the standard menu item, "Chocolate Parfait" (980 yen).
It was layered with chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, fondant au chocolat, frozen berries, cocoa crumble, and chocolate pudding, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors.
You can also top this off with the raw chocolate sauce that comes with it! It was delicious.
Like jewels! Check out the "bonbon chocolates"
I also ordered some "Bonbon Chocolat" (324 yen each) that were lined up in the display case. I got the most popular "White Peach Sencha" and the staff recommended "Ruby Berry".
The beautiful light blue "White Peach Sencha" is a two-layered ganache made with peach puree and white chocolate mixed with sencha tea.
This light blue color is the same as the store's theme color, making it a truly signature item!
The combination of peach, chocolate and sencha was a new sensation and delicious.
"Ruby Berry" is made by pureing four kinds of berries - raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries - and combining them with chocolate to create a ganache.
Once you try it, you won't be able to stop. Bonbon chocolates are amazing (lol)!
I'd like to try all the types someday!
It was a very happy day surrounded by so many delicious chocolates.
By the way, I went there by train, and I was so excited by the tasteful design of the Dazaifu Station, which uses a vermilion color inspired by Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, that I took a photo as a souvenir just like a tourist (lol).
This is a recommended shop for tourists in Dazaifu. Please be sure to stop by. (Text by Yuri-chan)
