[BOSS E・ZO Fukuoka New Store Report] A popular bistro serving delicious fluffy souffle omelet rice

Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.

With the professional baseball season just around the corner, a new bistro has opened inside BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA, the entertainment complex next to Fukuoka PayPay Dome!

Parlour Komatsu Stadium Side, a bistro where you can feel the energy of the PayPay Dome from the terrace seats (Jigyohama, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Parlour Komatsu Stadium Side opened on Friday, February 29th, 2024 at The FOODHALL on the 3rd floor of BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA.

For lunch, you can enjoy souffle omelet rice or spaghetti Napolitana, while during cafe time you can enjoy authentic sweets made by a pastry chef, and in the evening you can enjoy pizza and snacks that go well with craft beer and other alcoholic drinks.

The interior of the store, which has a wood grain motif, is bright and warm.

If you want to enjoy your meal while feeling the lively atmosphere of the dome up close, we recommend the terrace seats (12 seats) facing the dome.

The seat of the chair inside the store can be opened to create a space to store luggage, which was very convenient.

It disappears in a flash!? A new sensation with a fluffy texture: "Souffle Omelette Rice"

We are currently in the soft opening phase (grand opening on March 15th) and only select products are available.

The main menu consists of "Souffle Omelette Rice" (3 types, from 990 yen), "Napolitan" (4 types, from 990 yen), and "Pizza" (4 types, 1,045 yen each). As options, you can add "Assorted Appetizers" (330 yen), "Drinks" (220 yen), "Alcohol" (440 yen), and "Dessert" (220 yen).
*Please check the official website for details on the menu after the grand opening.

Pictured, from the top left, are "Souffle Omelette Rice with Special Meat Sauce" (990 yen), "Fluffy Cheese Souffle Omelette Rice" (1,320 yen), and "Beef Stroganoff Souffle Omelette Rice" (1,430 yen).

I ordered the Fluffy Cheese Souffle Omelette Rice, a finely textured omelette topped with plenty of cheese.

When you think of fluffy omurice, you imagine inserting a knife into the middle and opening it up, but the Souffle Omurice is eaten by scooping it up with a spoon.

This was my first time trying the Souffle Omelette Rice, and I could feel its softness just by putting my spoon into it.

It is baked with a generous amount of meringue, which makes it very airy and fizzy. It has such an amazing texture that it melts in your mouth, making you wonder if it's gone the moment you put it in your mouth...!

It has a rich egg flavor, but also has a light texture which is quite innovative.

The special meat sauce has an excellent balance of sourness and richness. It is even richer and more delicious when eaten with melted cheese.

Don't miss the fruit teas and desserts too!

We also recommend the fruit tea! Jasmine tea with chunky fruits and nata de coco.

Pictured from the left are "Pineapple & Passion Fruit, Mango & Nata de Coco" (770 yen) and "Grapefruit & Nata de Coco" (770 yen).

The bottom of the glass contained lots of fruit and nata de coco, which was cut lengthwise so that it could be easily drunk through a straw.

When you first drink it, it tastes like fruit juice with lots of pulp, but later on you can feel the gorgeous aroma of jasmine tea and it is refreshing. It goes really well with meals.

Be sure to check out the homemade desserts! This time, I tried the "Classic Pudding" (495 yen).

It's a firm pudding that's very sweet, and the bitter caramel sauce makes a perfect match. It's a comforting sweetness that makes it the perfect after-meal dessert.

Recommended for a quick drink

Starting with the grand opening on Friday, March 15th, there will be a wide variety of menu items that go well with alcohol.

The photo shows the already popular "Komatsu Crispy Potato CCP with Avocado Dip" (660 yen). They use the most delicious potatoes of the season carefully selected from all over the country. They are crispy and perfect with beer.

Don't miss the in-house craft beer "Komatsu Pale Ale" (935 yen)!

It's perfect for watching baseball games, hanging out at "BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA," or even while shopping at "MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi." Be sure to stop by. (Text by Hakata Aya.)
