Hello♪ I'm chippachapus and I love going to cafes.
This time, we will introduce new sweets from a popular Korean cafe!
AIMAI, a popular cafe in Hakata where you can enjoy innovative sweets and drinks (Hakata Station, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
"AIMAI" is located in front of Hakata Station in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, about a 12-minute walk from JR Hakata Station.
The sweets and drinks designed by the Korean owner are not only delicious but also visually appealing! Various sweets are available on an irregular basis.

From strawberry-filled cakes to a new style of shortcake! Four new sweets are now available!
The sweets we will introduce this time are new sweets that were released on February 17th, 2024.
There are four types in total: three strawberry sweets and one new type of popular "butt sweets."

This is the "Strawberry Chocolate Rare Cheesecake" (700 yen each).
Since Valentine's Day is in February, the theme is "chocolate x strawberry."

This is a gorgeous dome-shaped cake topped with lots of cut strawberries.

Hidden inside the fresh cream made in-house are homemade chocolate cheesecake, homemade strawberry sauce, and crumbles.
The fresh cream was fluffy, the chocolate cheesecake had a gentle chocolate flavor and a smooth texture, and the sweet and sour strawberries and salty crumble were the perfect accents.

This is the "Strawberry Shortcake" (700 yen).
It is not the typical shortcake you might imagine, but has a runny, creamy topping.

Cocoa sponge cake is combined with fresh cream and homemade strawberry sauce.
The overall flavor was light and fluffy, with plenty of fresh cream and strawberry sauce.

This is "Strawberry Daifuku Monaka" (700 yen).
The strawberry daifuku is served with monaka (a type of bean paste) from Monaka-ya Taneyoshi, a factory that specializes in making bean paste skins.

You can eat it however you like, but this time I tried sandwiching daifuku between monaka.

The crispness and fragrant flavor of the monaka went perfectly with the generous amount of red bean paste.
There's also a whole strawberry hidden in the bean paste, and the sweet and sour juice that spreads throughout your mouth is irresistible.

This is the "Ice Butt Pudding" (650 yen).
The butt-shaped ice pudding is layered with milk ice cream and crumbles, and topped with homemade caramel sauce.
As it gradually melts, it takes on the bouncy texture of pudding, making it a twice-delicious dessert.

The caramel sauce goes perfectly with the gentle sweetness of the custard! The saltiness of the crumble also adds a nice accent.

To go with the strawberry sweets, we also have a "Strawberry Chocolate Latte" (650 yen per cup).
