Of all fruits, I love strawberries, so when this season comes around I can't wait to try the strawberry sweets at various cafes.

This time, we will introduce some delicious strawberry sweets from a cafe run by a strawberry farm!

"Fuluulu" is a cafe run directly by "Uruu Farm," a strawberry farm that grows "Amaou" strawberries (Kurume City)

"Fuluulu" is located in Daizenji-cho, Kurume City. It is a cute pink shop renovated from a shipping container.

"fuluulu" is right next to "Uruu Farm," a strawberry farm famous for cultivating Amaou strawberries!

It opened in July 2022 as a directly managed cafe serving fruits grown at Uruu Farm.

"Uruu Farm" is a farm run by Momoka Koga and her husband. After giving birth, Momoka's passion for food grew stronger, and she wanted to open an organic farm restaurant and farm. Her husband, who had been in the seaweed farming business, agreed, and the two of them started farming together. It's a relatively new strawberry farm, only in its sixth year, but it's already extremely popular.

The number of greenhouses has increased from just two at the beginning to 35, and the scale of Amaou cultivation is unmatched in the entire Fukuoka Prefecture.

It has also been certified as a "Fukuoka Eco Agricultural Product," which is based on a special cultivation method that reduces the use of conventional chemical pesticides and fertilizers to less than half the amount required.

Strawberry picking is held every year, but this year it will not be held due to the warm winter and low strawberry harvest. Let's look forward to next season.

The inside of "fuluulu" is filled with the delicious smell of strawberries! You can even see the sweets being made in the open kitchen.

As soon as you enter the store, choose the menu card you want from the booth on your right and take it to the cash register.

With such a wide selection of options, including parfaits and crepes, it's hard to decide what to choose.

There is ample seating on the terrace, including raised table seats where families can relax and enjoy themselves, and counter seats where you can sit on swings instead of chairs.

The new dessert for 2024 is a plate where you can enjoy Amaou strawberries!

A new product that started on February 9, 2024 is the "Amaou Plate" (1,800 yen, includes a drink)! It is available in limited quantities and will end once the number of servings for that day is sold out.

The plate is topped with lots of fresh Amaou strawberries, Amaou Tiramisu, and Amaou Cheesecake. This is a limited menu item that is only available during the Amaou strawberry season.

Drinks include coffee, cafe latte, smoothie, apple juice, orange juice, and tea.

The first thing that's impressive is the amount of Amaou strawberries piled high on the plate!

Each plate contains about two packs of Amaou strawberries! For just 1,800 yen, this is a great value! This is the kind of luxury you can only get from a strawberry farm.

First, try a fresh Amaou strawberry; it's so sweet! Even though it has nothing on it, it's as sweet as if it had honey or something on it, and it really surprises you.

The cross-section of the "Amaou Tiramisu" is beautifully presented, and just looking at it gets you excited ♡

The glass is filled with plenty of Basque cheesecake, espresso, mascarpone cream, raspberry sauce, cocoa powder, and Amaou strawberries.

The inclusion of Basque cheesecake gives it a richness that is different from what you might imagine tiramisu to be.

The balance between the bitter cocoa powder and espresso on top and the sweet and sour raspberry sauce is exquisite.

The cute pink homemade "Amaou Cheesecake" is a perfect combination of the richness of the cream cheese and the sweet and sour taste of the Amaou strawberries! It was so delicious that it was gone in a matter of seconds.

You can fully enjoy the deliciousness of Amaou strawberries and you will be completely hooked on this plate ♡

There are plenty of other sweets on the menu, including the "Ruby Chocolate Amaou Brulee Parfait" (1,650 yen, available until March 29, 2024, photo below right), which contains plenty of Amaou strawberries!

The store also sells strawberries directly. You can buy Amaou strawberries picked that morning at a great price. They also sell "Amaou Daifuku" (450 yen) made in-store.
