A popular cafe lunch that is full even on weekdays! A restaurant with a good reputation among locals for its great scenery and atmosphere (Nago, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)

This time, I'd like to introduce a delicious lunch I found in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City.

Extremely comfortable! "Garden Cafe Nan no Ki" (Nago, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City) is a restaurant with a parking lot and is easy to get to by car.

"Garden Cafe Nan no Ki" is located on Prefectural Route 546 heading from Doi, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City towards Hisayama-machi, Kasuya-gun. It is a sister store of "Kashii Sando Nan no Ki", which offers high-quality coffee including specialty coffee.

The cafe was opened with the aim of being a place where customers can spend quality time while looking at the garden, and the cafe is particularly proud of the garden, which was created in collaboration with a landscaping company. The garden is well-maintained and the scenery changes with the seasons, making it a beautiful sight.

It's such a popular restaurant that there are often lines at lunchtime, even on weekdays.

The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a wood-toned style, creating a calm atmosphere. The large windows overlook the garden, making it a very comfortable place to be.

A wide variety of lunch menus

The most popular item here is the lunch, which is available from 11:00 to 16:00. There was a line on the day I visited, even though it was a weekday.

Another appealing point is the wide variety of options. I'd like to introduce some of the dishes I had.

All lunch menus come with a mini salad and drink, as shown in the photo.

Beef Stew

The popular seasonal item "Beef Stew" (1,700 yen) is scheduled to be available until the end of February 2024 this season.

It's rich and full-bodied! It's packed with ingredients and very satisfying.

It also comes with a plain bagel from "Inoue Bagel," a mobile vendor in Fukuoka Prefecture! Its chewy texture makes it a perfect match for the stew.

Hot sandwich plate

The most popular menu item is the "Hot Sandwich Plate" (1,430 yen), made using special black sesame bread.

The hot sandwiches come with two fillings: tuna and ham and egg. They're hot and delicious.

There was a wide variety of side dishes, so it felt like a luxurious meal.

Homemade hamburger steak with colorful vegetables

"Colorful Vegetable Homemade Hamburger Steak" (1,760 yen) served with plenty of seasonal vegetables.

The hamburger steak is served with a Japanese-style sauce based on apples and onions. The sweet sauce matches well with the umami of the meat, making it perfect for eating with rice.

Loco moco rice bowl with plenty of vegetables and homemade hamburger steak

"Homemade hamburger steak and loco moco rice bowl with plenty of vegetables" (1,650 yen) is a hand-kneaded hamburger steak topped with plenty of seasonal vegetables and drizzled in homemade Japanese soy sauce sauce.

The combination of the juicy hamburger steak and the refreshing Japanese-style sauce was perfect and very delicious.

By the way, "Garden Cafe Nan no Ki" is also popular for its homemade desserts, especially the fluffy and chewy French toast, such as the "Berry French Toast" (1,050 yen) shown in the photo.
