This time, we will introduce a baked goods shop that opened on January 19, 2024 in Takamiya, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

A takeaway baked goods specialty store "Uand" (Takamiya, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City) has opened near Nishitetsu Takamiya Station!

Uand, a popular baked goods specialty store in Saga Prefecture, has opened its third store outside of Saga Prefecture, following its Mizugae main store and Saga Station store in Saga Prefecture, in Takamiya, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.

The location is right next to Nishitetsu Takamiya Station, along Takamiya Street.

"Uand" was named with the idea of "from me to you, and to someone special to you."

As expected, many people not only buy them for themselves, but also as gifts or souvenirs.

This is a take-out only shop with around 10 to 15 types of baked goods lined up on beautiful antique-style furniture and miscellaneous goods.

"You're lucky if you find one" - A taste test report of some popular products

I'll introduce some of the products I purchased.

Cookie tin of thick-cut Diamant cookies

The "Thick-Cut Diamant Cookies Cookie Tin" (3,000 yen) is also popular online. It's not sold every day, so you're lucky if you come across it.

The tin is packed with super thick cookies! It comes in four different flavors: vanilla, cocoa, matcha, and black tea.

Each one is about 3cm thick, so you'll feel completely satisfied after just eating one.

Mizugae Canelé

The most popular item is the Mizugae Canelé (300 yen each).

It's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

Compared to regular canelés, this one has a stronger rum flavor and is addictive!

Apparently there are many customers who buy it again and again.

Chocolate banana muffin

The "Chocolate Banana Muffin" (370 yen each) is a popular menu item among children.

The bananas are not kneaded into the dough, but are added as an ingredient, allowing you to enjoy the combination of the rich, natural banana flavor and chocolate.

Chocolate chip scones

The hearty "Chocolate Chip Scone" (360 yen each).

It's crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.

The butter flavor was good.

Florentine Tart

This is the "Florentin Tart" (420 yen each).

It was delicious and I could enjoy the different textures - the crispy tart crust, the moist crust in the middle, and the crunchy almond slices.

Digre

This "Digre" (300 yen each) is a chocolate chip financier.

It contains a very large proportion of chocolate chips, making it a must-try treat for chocolate lovers.

What's great about these sweets is that they contain no food additives.
