It's even more powerful in 2024! Six types of "luxurious strawberry sweets" using plenty of Amaou strawberries will be available

Let me introduce you to the Strawberry Sweets Fair right away.

This is a very popular annual fair that features several types of sweets made with the luxurious Fukuoka brand of strawberries, Amaou.

In 2024, it will be even more exciting, with a total of six different sweets to enjoy.

The first is the striking "Amaou Flower Crepe" (2,200 yen).

It uses more than 10 Amaou strawberries and is piled so densely that you can't see the dough or the cream inside.

The crepe dough is made using a unique blend and baking method that gives it a unique chewy texture.

The dough is generously spread with butter and finished with a sprinkling of cane sugar, so you can enjoy the light texture and gentle sweetness right to the very last bite.

Inside is a generous amount of milky cream, the same as that used in the shop's popular "fruit sandwiches."

The crunchy texture of the rusks inside added a nice accent to the snack.

It was a luxurious crepe that allowed me to enjoy Amaou strawberries no matter where I ate it.

Crepes are also served on a plate in two different styles.

This is "Strawberry Butter Sugar" (1,650 yen).

It uses six Amaou strawberries, has homemade strawberry jam inside the dough, and is served with fresh cream on the side.

Another recommendation for black tea lovers is the "Strawberry Black Tea Butter Sugar" (1,680 yen).

Apparently black tea (Darjeeling tea leaves in this case) is kneaded into the dough, and the flavor of black tea spreads softly in your mouth the moment you bite into it.

Both had a chewy dough and went perfectly with the Amaou strawberries and the rich, milky fresh cream.

The three types of crepes introduced so far are also available for take-out (note that the serving style for platters will change).

Next, we would like to introduce the ever-popular "Strawberry Tiramisu" (980 yen).

The cake is made with homemade tiramisu cream, sponge cake soaked in plenty of homemade espresso, and chunks of chopped Amaou strawberries sandwiched between the cream.

It is topped with large Amaou strawberries, giving it a very cute appearance.

The thick tiramisu cream was accented with the bitter espresso and sweet and sour Amaou strawberries, making it very delicious.

It was a compact but satisfying tiramisu.

From the left, "Strawberry Affogato" (1,280 yen) and "Strawberry Parfait" (1,900 yen).

The "Strawberry Affogato" combines homemade strawberry jam with milk gelato from popular gelato shop "ViTO" and a vegan waffle cone from its sister shop "TUTTO" in Tokyo.

It also comes with a homemade espresso on the side, so you can add it to your liking.

The gelato had a refreshing milk flavor and went perfectly with the bitter espresso.

The "Strawberry Parfait" is made up of nine ingredients: white chocolate cheesecake, milk gelato, rum cream, Amaou strawberry, star aniseed jam, gluten-free crumble, coconut mousse, jelly, and lime.

The "White Chocolate Cheesecake" that sits on top of the glass is an original creation of our sister store, "HOC CHEESECAKE."

The dough looks quite firm, but when you eat it it's incredibly smooth and has an irresistible creamy sweetness.

It was topped with crushed white chocolate, which gave it a nice texture and enhanced its deliciousness.

Inside the glass, the mellow flavors of milk gelato and coconut mousse went well with the sweet and sour Amaou strawberries, and the sweet crumble added a great accent.

Overall, it was a light parfait with a slightly more mature flavor.

The current lineup for the Strawberry Sweets Fair will be available until the end of February, but the content is scheduled to change slightly from March.

During January, they will also be offering the seasonal drink "Organic Matcha Soy Latte" (650 yen), which we recommend enjoying with Amaou sweets.
