"ONCA COFFEE Mina Tenjin Store" (Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City), a new type of cafe run by the glasses brand "JINS"

ONCA COFFEE Mina Tenjin is located on the first floor of Mina Tenjin. It's about a three-minute walk from Tenjin Station on the subway, and you can easily access it through the Tenjin Underground Mall without getting wet in the rain.

In fact, this is a cafe run by the eyewear brand "JINS."

This is the second store after the "ONCA COFFEE & ROASTERY Maebashi Store" in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, and the first in Western Japan. Furthermore, it is the first store in the country where "JINS" and "ONCA COFFEE" are combined.

The interior of the store is warm and cozy, with pottery everywhere. The shelves and sofas are decorated with Oishiwara ware tiles, creating a very comfortable atmosphere.

Of course, you can wait for your glasses to be ready, but as it is located right at the entrance to Mina Tenjin on the Tenjin Shoppers Fukuoka side, it can also be used for a variety of occasions, such as a meeting place.

The menu is simple, with only two items! But it's fun to discover new flavors.

ONCA COFFEE's main drink menu is simple, with just two options: drip coffee "KURO" (400 yen) and cafe latte "SHIRO" (450 yen).

The reason for the two types of menu is "so that you can order quickly even when you have limited time." You don't have to worry about which one to choose from the many different types... You can enjoy the carefully selected "recommended flavors of the store"♪

The beans used at "KURO" are changed daily from eight types: "#1 ONCA BLEND", "#2 DARK BLEND", "#3 BRAZIL DATERRA", "#4 BRAZIL KYOTO", "#5 GUATEMALA SHB PROVIDENCIA", "#6 ETHIOPIA YIRGA CHEFE", "#7 INDONESIA MANDHELING G1", and "#0 DECAF". However, if you have a favorite cup of coffee that you would like to order, you can specify the beans even if they are not the recommended beans of the day.

When you receive your coffee, you will be given a card with the number of the recommended beans for that day and the place of origin, so you only need to remember the number instead of the name of the beans. You'll want to come back again and again to find your favorite beans.

The beans served at KURO on the day I visited were the No. 1 ONCA BLEND.

A cup with aromas of dried fruit, caramel, and cacao. It is a blend of five types of coffee beans from around the world. It is refreshing and easy to drink, and seems to go well with sweets.
