We'll introduce you to new creations from popular cafes that are a must-have when talking about Fukuoka cafes.

A sister cafe of a popular store! A stylish renovated old house, "STEREO COFFEE" (Watanabedori, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

STEREO COFFEE is located in Watanabedori, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, about an 8-minute walk from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Tenjin Station.

It opened in December 2016 as a sister store of the dining bar "STEREO" (currently closed), which opened in Daimyo, Fukuoka in 2002, and is now celebrating its 8th anniversary.

The warm space, a renovated old house, is equipped with large, high-quality JBL speakers and McIntosh amplifiers, and a wide range of music genres resonates comfortably. It's a space that music lovers will love.

First, you order at the register, where a variety of records are lined up.

Although it is a coffee stand, you can also enjoy "craft beer" (around 1,100 to 2,000 yen). They all have cute packaging, so it's fun to choose one based on inspiration!

Other drinks available include "Lemon Sour" and "Highball" (600 yen each).

Our recommendation is the delicious, indulgent and great value "Sweets Pairing"!

This time, I tried the shop's recommended new dish, "Sweets Pairing" (850 yen).

A luxurious set that allows you to enjoy the pairing of our specially made "Basque Cheesecake" with "HANDELS VÄGEN" ice cream!

Handelsbergen's ice cream is normally 500 yen, and the Basque cheesecake is normally 550 yen, so this set saves you 200 yen!

The Basque Cheesecake, which is said to be as smooth as possible, is rich and not too sweet, and was delicious until the last bite.

Handelsbergen's ice cream is free of emulsifiers, stabilizers, colorings, and flavorings. There are several flavors available at all times, so you can choose the flavor you want to pair it with. The shop's top recommendation is the Rum Raisin Custard, a luxurious custard ice cream made with homemade rum raisins and French Marsala wine.

I chose "Pistachio" as the pairing. This ice cream uses plenty of pistachios grown in Bronte, a small village on the Mediterranean island of Sicily, and you can enjoy its elegant sweetness, richness, and umami.

This ice cream is "Macadamia Caramel Coconut." It's filled with chunks of macadamia nuts and has a tropical flavor of caramel and coconut.

A wide range of coffees on offer!

If you visit STEREO COFFEE, you can't miss their specialty hand drip or cold brewed iced coffee. The staff travels all over the country to find roasters they think are "wonderful" and selects "guest roasters" who change every three months to purchase coffee beans from them.

They are also particular about the equipment they use to brew the coffee. They change the dripper and paper depending on whether they are using a light or dark roast!

How can we serve it in the best possible condition? The efforts of our staff allow us to deliver delicious coffee.

This time I ordered "Hand Drip Coffee (HOT)" (600 yen). I chose the light roast "Ethiopia" and the medium-dark roast "Nicaragua."

"Ethiopia" has a refreshing, fruity flavor reminiscent of orange and grape, while "Nicaragua" has a refreshing flavor like blueberry, but also has a rich taste like milk chocolate and cocoa, making it the perfect match for cheesecake.

If you're not sure which coffee to choose, just ask the staff and they'll be able to suggest the perfect coffee beans for you.

The motto of "STEREO COFFEE" is "GOOD MUSIC GOOD COFFEE." It is imbued with the idea of becoming a part of everyday life, a place where people and nature come together, a place of connection.
