This time, we will introduce a cafe in Nakama City where you can enjoy delicious pancakes.

A shop specializing in shaved ice and pancakes! A cozy cafe called "Osamu-chantachi" (Nakama City)

Shu-chan's House is quietly nestled in a residential area of Dotenouchi, Nakama City, along the Onga River, about a 14-minute walk from Kibougaokakoukoumae Station on the Chikuho Electric Railway.

The owner's name is Shuhei, and he named the shop "Shu-chan's" because he started it with the help of everyone around him.

Originally operating as a shaved ice specialty shop in a prefabricated building since 2015, it gained popularity and opened as a store in 2018.

The warm interior of the restaurant, which is decorated with wood, has two tables for four and one table for two.

You'll be surprised at how fluffy they are ♡ Enjoy our carefully made homemade pancakes!

At "Osamu-chan-tachi," you can enjoy over 10 types of pancakes, from seasonal specials to standard menu items.

This is the "Sweet Potato Pancake" (1,400 yen). *Scheduled to be on sale until the end of February 2024.

The pancakes are soufflé-style and made with wheat flour produced in Kyushu and Mihouran eggs from Nogami Poultry Farm in Kurate Town, giving them a fluffy texture!

It is topped with a brulee-style sweet potato cream made from Annou potatoes, and has a crispy exterior and soft, gooey interior. You can enjoy the different textures.

In the foreground are sticky baked sweet potatoes called "Silk Sweet."

If you pour the accompanying black sesame maple syrup over it, it will taste like candied sweet potato! If you add the homemade milk gelato, it will have an even richer flavor.

By the way, "Gelato" (single 330 yen, double 480 yen) is also sold in stores.

This is the "Chocolate Banana Pancake" (900 yen).

Fluffy and soft, it melts in your mouth. Not too sweet, but rich in flavor.

You can enjoy the chocolate to your heart's content, and these pancakes are irresistible for chocolate lovers.

Starting December 16, 2023, the "Strawberry Creme Brulee Pancakes" (1,600 yen) will be available for a limited time, so don't miss out on that either.

There is a limited quantity per day, but you can reserve it.

The famous shaved ice that you'll want to try even in winter

In addition, the famous shaved ice can be enjoyed all year round.

This is the "Shirokuma" (900 yen). The ice and condensed milk are both homemade.

By paying particular attention to the temperature, composition, and method of shaving the ice, they have achieved a smooth and fluffy texture!

Be sure to check out "Amaou" (730 yen), which is made using 100% Amaou strawberries from "Kurita Strawberry Farm" in Kurate Town.

The syrup is made only from sweet potato and sugar.
