This time, we will introduce the morning meals you can enjoy at a new attraction that opened in July 2023 on the seafront in Fukutsu City.

DILLY DALLY is located at Miyajihama Beach in Fukutsu City.

This seaside diner serves casual food that suits the seaside, and also offers a variety of seasonal menu items. It's full of charm that makes you want to visit even when it's not beach season.

Business hours are 11:00-19:30 on weekdays and 9:00-20:00 on weekends and holidays (morning menu only from 9:00-11:00).

"Both adults and children can forget about all the difficult things and efforts just for today, eat delicious food until they're full, chat idly with a cup of coffee, and jump around aimlessly on the beach. We want everyone to have the best holiday ever," says the owner, who named the store after the English slang "dilly-dally," which means to sulk or laze around, and based his wish on the concept of "HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY."

When you enter the store, the ocean is right in front of you! It's completely made of glass, so the view is amazing.

The most popular seats are on the second floor. Go up the stairs and to the left there are sofa seats that can accommodate about five people.

On the right hand side there is a table seating for about six people, from which you can enjoy the view of the sky and sea through the window.

It is a luxurious space that feels like a private room, different from the first floor.

There is also terrace seating outside on the first floor (sea side). It's cold now, but it's a "special seat" with the sea right in front of you, so be sure to come on a nice day!

The "Morning Plate", available only on weekends and holidays, is delicious!

Starting at the end of November 2023, a new "Morning" menu will be available only on weekends and holidays from 9:00 to 11:00! The menu will only include the "Morning Plate" (1,150 yen).

The large plate is topped with vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, and red cabbage rapée, French fries, bacon and eggs, and their special French toast.

I was surprised at the amount, it was quite voluminous.

The French toast comes with honey, so I poured a generous amount on it.

The French toast is soaked in a special egg mixture, and the sweetness spreads throughout your mouth with every bite - it's absolutely delicious!

Plus, a drink is included.

You can choose from a wide variety of drinks, including Americano, cafe latte, Coca-Cola, orange juice, mango juice, Calpis water, Calpis soda, and oolong tea.

Of course there are sweets too! It's hard to decide which one to get.

From 11:00 onwards, you can enjoy a wide variety of food menu items such as chicken, hamburgers, curry, and omelet rice, as well as sweets such as pudding, cake, and donuts.

The sweets menu lineup also includes popular items from the cafe "alu" located in Ohakubo-cho, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City.

I was also interested in the seasonal parfaits, fondant au chocolat, and "Daihaku Pudding," but this time I chose "Tiramisu" and "Donuts"!

"Tiramisu" (600 yen) is a special limited-time sweet created by the pastry chef of "alu"! *The end of sales date will be announced on Instagram.

The bitter sponge cake soaked in espresso was topped with a generous amount of mascarpone cream, making it a luxurious treat.

The "Donut" (250 yen) is super fluffy! It's covered in so much granulated sugar that it reminds me of the old days. It's a plain type with no cream inside, so the overall sweetness is modest. I ate it up in no time.

This time we have focused on the morning menu, but there is also a wide selection of menu items available at other times, including a children's menu.
